You are correct sir. Crosby was the better team and my hats off to them on a great game. I knew it would take a great game by us to win and y'all had a lot to do with why we didn't. To the Brenham guys I apologize for the rift I just get a little passionate about our team and all the negative and unwarranted criticism they endure from past failures (Not by y'all). Periballo how proud you must be and according to the boys your son was a true and respectful competitor as well as the rest of the Lion Cubs. My son is #6 and had nothing but compliments and respect for Brenham and humbled me a little that there is a fine line between passion and being a fanatic. Nothing was even said or was bashing Crosby until Footballer06 started in with his antics and if you think Brenham or their fans are going to be scared or intimidated by that your wrong. I didn't back down to anyone, I stood corrected on something to a Crosby fan that was ACTUALLY having a normal post. That's fine, yall "Win", good job now sleep well.

You see, Brenham and Dayton respect each other. We meet up before, during and after the games. I know guys that have dinner before and after. We have had some very memorable games over the last few years, and I would never post anything that was meant to offend anyone on the board. I never made a crack at Crosby until I was cracked on, and even then it was minimal. I'm hoping that both Brenham and Crosby do win this weekend. Rivalries are always good for the game of high school football. FRIENDLY rivalries. Not rivalries that people start making personal attacks on people AND their families. That's messed up. Let's keep it about the game on the field....about the kids. It's not about us on these forums trash talking each other, well knowing that the same kids that we are claiming to support are probably reading it. What kind of example are you setting for them. Wow, way to bring the wife, kids, and my testicles into a forum post about football! First of all Periballo is a Greek word meaning to surround and was used as a term for our defense when I used to play football. Its unique, no one ever uses it, makes an easy screen name. Second, I assure you I have both testicles, since you seem to be worried about that, and I have do have a wife and kids. IF Brenham and Crosby meet up you will get to see my oldest son firsthand and those of you that know him are shaking your head in agreement. And before you start patting yourself on the back thinking that you have me riled up and upset, stop, you don't! Is it a little bit low to talk about a mans wife and kids, sure, but that's what trolls like you do when presented with facts that they can not dispute. You and the few Crosby followers that urge you on need to walk to a mirror and repeat after me:

Ah yeah Crosby did make it.  In 1960 and in class 1A:  Albany 20, Crosby 0.  As far as the smack-talk, I've watched and participated on some heated boards leading up to highly anticipated games in the past.  If you love the game and are a strong supporter of your team, of course the emotions run high and things are said and replies escalate.  However, when things get personal and family, specifically wife and/or children are brought into the discussion, the line has been crossed.  You can talk sh!t all you want and declare your team the best in the world, but don't refer to a man's home life.  That's bullsh!t!!  Good luck to all teams that are fortunate enough to be playing this week and beyond.  Go Cubs!!

Honestly, I don't like either one. I believe you have to run well to eventually win the championship. Harder to pass in bad weather your going to get in November and December. That is why all those spread teams want to play on turf. I am more "I" formation and play action passing. The Slot T is effective right now because you don't see it every day. The more and more teams that run it, the more teams will find it easier to defense. I just feel like it is the new flavor of the month.  I really don't like the spread so much because in my mind it makes it harder to run except for draw plays. I believe that run games build toughness and character. It takes pressure off of the QB. I do believe in multiple formations offensively though. No reason you can't run the spread at certain times. Just my opinion.

Not that I have to explain anything to you or any other goober on here... Can you show me in  the rules of this website where it says I can't like more than one team or their fans. Seriously...  -_-

I will concede that as long as it was talking football it was fine and perfectly ok, when the wife and kids get mentioned in any regards it goes in a different direction that it shouldn't. That is why if you want to talk crap about a team, matchups, compare history, hell talk about my testicles(ha ha), I don't care. When any reference to wife or kids comes into play, that is when the conversation takes a turn for the worst unfortunately. Seen it happen several times on here and they are the worst.

First I wonder about the whole testicle thing. I have jabbed with a few people on here and have never even considered their testes. He will come off very brash and I refrain from taking shots at him because Crosby beat us this year. I have to listen to him even though he should have a lil more respect for our team since they didn't beat us as badly as he said they would.
