There's a possibility that Baytown Lee goes to Manvel district. Right now I'm looking at that area: FB Willowridge FB Marshall Lamar Consolidated Katy Paetow Santa Fe Manvel Port Lavaca Calhoun Maybe Baytown Lee?

I tried looking at schools in 5a D2, I have no clue how they are going to put people. Montgomery and Montgomery Lake Creek you would think would go with the Brenham and others, but I think they get pulled into the East Austin district. Looks really difficult to figure out with less teams and spread out.

Schaper will contribute this year as well on the mound.

It's going to difficult if Ozen and Central don't combine. The reason being is with Splendora and Cleveland. The UIL has mention that they are pushing for 8 to 9 team districts due to scheduling issues. The north Houston area schools are exploding, so there's not many 5a D2 schools to make a full district. Which means somebody is going to be in a jacked up district. Cleveland, Splendora, BH, Dayton, or Lee might be victims of the split.

If Matt Stepp projection is correct, Lumberton will be the smallest 5a D2 school in Texas. His projection for 5a D2 is 1125-1759 Lumberton 1125 Splendora 1145 Cleveland 1446 (growing big time) New 22-5a could be Barbers Hill 1560 Nederland 1546 Dayton 1511 PNG 1493 Cleveland 1446 Vidor 1333 Splendora 1145 Lumberton 1125 Baytown Lee ?

PNG might be the Region 3 favorite this year with what they have coming back. Ya'll do have some pitching and bats this year. It should be a rematch 3rd round between BH and PNG. Tomball and Magnolia are stacked this year as well as College Station and Brenham. Region 3 is going to be brutal this year for baseball. It's going to be tough sledding for sure.

22-5a will be weaker then what it is now. You lose PAM, possibly Central and Ozen, Livingston. You keep PNG, Ned, Vidor, Baytown Lee, and probably add Dayton, Barbers Hill, and Cleveland. Crosby will most likely be 5a D1. Who knows though how the UIL will do things.

I played at West Brook hoss. All I'm simply saying is you need to get off of the kid. You breaking down the wrong thing. Ya'll had me wondering talking about a Freshman as the QB. I remember this years QB from last year. I went back and looked, #7 Austin Marshall is a Senior. That's been the QB in the playoffs. The Freshman that ya'll are talking about, I haven't seen play.

Let's talk some baseball. 21-5a will most likely be Barbers Hill, Kingwood Park, Crosby, and flip after that. BH this year is going to be pretty good. We have a returning core group plus new additions that will help on the pitching and hitting side. Look for about 6 arms to be 85+ and a lineup from top to bottom with some power. Should be a bright year for BH baseball.

I watched the Ned/Manvel game and PNG/TC game. Ned looked alot better then PNG as a complete team. I'm not surprised that Ned beat PNG. IMO of course.

I think most people knew this was going to happen. You need a really good defense to have chance after 1st couple of rounds. Without Shug, PNG would either barely squeeze into the playoffs or not make it. Y'al know that's the truth. They've had a good season.

I blame it on no long term plan in Beaumont ISD. That goes back to a long time ago. None of the school boards ever had a plan. Every time one side of town squawked, they gave in. I still think opening a 3rd HS hurt Beaumont.

Manvel was beating Cedar Park 35-10 in 3Q last I checked.

He's small, but manages the game well. Their Oline looks like a college D1 Oline, huge!
