Gotcha, that Beaumont math gets me sometimes. Thanks
-
If I remember correctly there was a thread about Ozen opting up two years ago, I must've missed the correction. Either way, for their sake, they need to be 4a.
-
I'm just predicting according the site prediction numbers I read. Who knows where Lumberton ends up. Either the smallest 5a D2 school or top 10 largest 4A D1 school. I don't know if there's an upside either way for Lumberton. 4A D1 LCM Silsbee Bridge City Huffman Ozen Lumberton
-
If Cleveland jumps up might add them. When I was looking at 5A numbers, there's not many 5A D2 schools in or around Houston. Not sure if they go with 9 team district or try to split it into 2 districts. I read where the UIl wants to try and have 8 or 9 team districts due to scheduling issues.
-
Ozen numbers are 4A, hopefully BISD is smart and go 4A this go around and not opt to play up.
-
Huntsville could, unless they go with Bryan, CS, Waco, Magnolia, Magnolia West, Tomball, Tomball Memorial, Waller.
-
Lumberton number is the cutoff according to a couple of sites prediction.
-
Local 5A D2 district: Baytown Lee Dayton Barbers Hill Vidor PNG Nederland Lumberton Central
-
The other local 5A D1 district: Willis Caney Creek Humble Kingwood Park New Caney Porter Crosby (snapshot puts them D1 possibly)
-
My prediction is if Friendswood drops to 5A D1: Friendswood Texas City Manvel Galveston Ball Galena Park Angleton PAM
-
Crosby might go D1 with those numbers
-
Frodo, no, but #2 QB was going to be the guy next year. He's has a good arm and moves well. He's a Junior and since taking over has done well. PNG would for sure be the favorite, but I think we have the team to make it competitive. Our Defense has started really playing well the second half of the season.
-
Like last year when the Hill had a chance to win at the end? PNG will be the favorite, but be very, very careful.
-
Thanks, so I guess the last scenario would be: NC wins out and BH loses to Porter, BH is out due to KWP beating BH head to head?
-
Scenario 1 New Caney loses to Porter and Crosby 5-3 Porter beats NC and BH 7-1 Barbers Hill bye and loses to Porter 5-3 KWP beats Humble and Splendor 5-3 Crosby wins out 8-0 This scenario, New Caney stays home correct with Porter D1 #1 and KWP D1 #2 Crosby D2 #1 and BH D2 #2 Scenario 2 NC beats Porter and loses to Crosby 6-2 Crosby wins out 8-0 Porter wins out 7-1 BH loses to Porter 5-3 KWP wins out 5-3 I'm assuming KWP gets in because of head to head Scenario 3 BH beats Porter 6-2 NC-Porter-Crosby-BH are in Does this sound right?
-
BH isn't a lock for the playoffs. Not sure what needs to happen, but we only have Porter left in week 10.
-
The BH has been getting better each week. Really like Coach Cowgil. He's got the kids believing.
-
That's why Grand Oaks is being built. That won't be their number after this school year.
-
Great job BH! Let'em keep doubting y'all.
-
Agree, but if BH stays on top tonight, it makes it interesting.
-
This isn't good for BH! I know the Crosby folks told me so. Lol
-
I read somewhere that UIL is shooting for 8-9 team districts. Not sure how, but I did see it a couple of weeks ago.
-
BH really needs Dayton to beat KWP. BH still in playoff hunt, but hanging on a thread. NC game huge for BH. Two weeks to prepare for Porter after that. Either way, makes it exciting. Lol

2008 was the last time Central beat Ned and PNG in the same season. They ended up going 4 rounds deep in the playoffs. Figured, I would add my .02. Could it be a repeat of 2008?
