One of the reason I love living in the area is the school pride and passion about sports in SETX. Coming from a community with very little (Livingston) I make sure I take it in every time we go to an event. This weekend should be a great showcase and something we should all be proud of. These kids will remember these moments forever 

How many of these kids playing select pick up a ball twice a week to throw while at practice, and every other weekend to play? Then don't pick up a ball the rest of the days. That's most likely playing catch 10 times in 30 days, and 2 times a month pitching. That's no way to keep an arm in shape, and on top of that, how many of them actually do arm care to help protect their arms? There's more to blame than throwing too many pitches in an outing in my opinion.....and I definitely don't condone over throwing a kid just to win a game.

Per game? Per Week? Per year? I really think it is a terrible idea because every arm is different. If the UIL wants to start a pitch count then they need to start a tackle count and pass attempt in football as well as a shot attempt in basketball. I would hate for anyone to get tennis elbow

Livingston made their own bed a few years ago getting rid of Randy Rowe. They will disappear back to the late 90's- 2000's where they went 10+ games stretches of not winning a football game. Livingston wants to be good they just can't get out of their own way to let it happen. 

If I'm BC and you have a choice I'm going single game every single time. Chad has to think his #1 is better than anyone else #1. I like it

Lets get back to this VISOR. Is there a back story? Not sure I've ever seen one on a baseball field before. Softball plenty but baseball not so much

I think you have a great point on defense. Looking back over the years of high school ball I've witnessed is the lack of defense. We still have hard throwers and great high school hitters but the routine ground ball and fly ball is not automatic.
