​Even though Vidor was up by 52-33 ( I believe it was ). Crosby tried like hell to get in the endzne their last couple of drives just to ease the pain. Crosbys QB was running for his life the entire time and still  couldnt find paydirt even after a few 4th down attempts

They should change the offense to a heavy run oriented style. At least for this one year , It would place less of a burden on QB (regardless of who it is) and more on the rbs. Then who cares who the QB is, problem solved

3-7 with wins over H-F, orangefield and lee

could at best go 5-5 with wins over gcm and bc but I don't see Lumberton beating a Dubois coached bc

The Vidor win was a flop, I wouldn't buy too much into it ! Vidor layed down in that game and had no desire to win . Lumberton played like it was the Super Bowl. It brings about false hopes for the upcoming season. Not that I don't admire your enthusiasm !

That's probably the reason Walter doesn't play qb in college but Mike Vick, Steve Young, Kellen Moore, Tim Tebow, Matt Lienart, Chris Simms and Pat White were all southpaws too and had excellent college careers. Sharp being left handed doesn't have anything to do with it, his 3/4 delivery and questionable arm strength is the issue for him. Reed plays on a team with less talent than both and doesn't have the size limitations Walter does and still has been moved to receiver for the time being. The same thing will most likely happen to Jaquet also. The reason those kids don't play qb is because it's just flat out hard to play qb at the FBS level.

Jaquet fits the mold of a QB more so than Walter did. I was never really impressed with Walter but I only saw him a few times (seemed more like a runner)

I think at this stage in Neumann's career it's a fair question to ask. I certainly believe he's still the best coach in that district but if he moved here or to 24-5A where would he rank? The game even catches up with legends at times.

He would own that district (24-5A)also ! He doesnt exactly have the best players talent wise but he sure knows how to get the most out of what he has

How many Crosby players got drafted again ?

I hope it turns out for the best. I trust the coaching staff. They know what talent level they have and should know how to best use that talent. Just saying I'm not a big fan of the slot t. Somewhere along the line you will run into a defense that shuts it down and you will be forced to pass to move the ball. It's just too one dimensional.

 

I agree ! The offense was once a oddity and now it is becoming more prevalent.  With more teams running it , the defenses are more prepared and do not get caught off guard as much as they use to. This especially holds true in districts where one than more team runs the SLot-T .

 

I guess the real question would be: How many teams in LCMs district run it or see it on a regular basis ?

( I personally feel that it will be a good thing for "tha Bears", especially since they are not in a local district)
