4a "use to" be better than 3a🤷‍♂️

No the problem is. Majority of the post are from people who has never played a down of football. Their experience is from Madden and Fanatsy Football. I am a true newton fan, played the game and even coached for a little. I am not blind to other teams. But one thing about Newton fans we don’t spend our time in the past. Yes we know what lies ahead.  

Or was cramping up again like North Shore tonight yet again. 

If you are gonna let the cat out the bag, then pull it all the way out. 3 contributing players are out, 

Probably during District play they will move some people up and let them get much needed varsity experience.  I really don't see much of a threat during district play. CC may have a good team but they won't be able to play with Newton. And if they move a lot of kids up to play during second half of the game it will give the bread and butter some rest. No disrespect, but I just see District play as prep for the playoffs. It's a foregone conclusion, in my mind.

I think the absence of #8  in those two big games made it closer than should have been. I know he was out in other games but it showed  against a good team.

I think thats a safe prediction.  But I don't think Silsbee will hang 27 on Newton's defense.  But this will be a test for Newton offensively and defensively.  This will tell us how good they really are.  I just happen to believe that they may even be better this year than last year.  As hard as that is to believe.  Understand,  I think Silsbee is better than last year as well.and WOS and Gilmer as well.

This is the game of the week and could go either way. No matter who wins it will not be an upset. I will not predict this game because I am rarely wrong and don't want to give anyone a heads up.

Darwin played great when his name was called this weekend. Roney Elam had the best game of his career with A&M and is finally going to be a starter for a full season. So, I see him having a big year. The Foster brothers had good games with McNeese this weekend as well. It is exciting watching and hearing about all the Newton boys doing well. 

Roney is fun to watch. Some forget he lead Newton to state in 2014.

I'll never forget that hit he put on a Blanco player over in Waller, I thought that kid was knocked out. 

Did y’all see Roney Elam showing out too? That kid was a lot of fun to watch his senior year. 

Barlow looked good  as usual running  the ball for TCU. Scored his 1st TD . I think we will see him in the backfield as a Freshman often . 

Watched this game.and boy am I impressed with the team speed of TCU. Patterson has some burners. I didn't get to see Darwins TD, the time ran out on my recording. Blasted thing. I did get to see a replay of it. I'm sure proud of this young man. He has a great future ahead of him. Also I noticed that TCU has some doggone good Freshmen. That cornerback that played for an injured guy looked stout.

I didn't expect to put almost 60 on silsbee last season, so I'm not sure about this one either, think it depends on both teams passing game

I'll be in the building Friday for this one on Silsbee side, but I got Newton winning in a close game. 

When I said Eagles by 50 I meant for the whole game, not a half. Sheesh.
