I wish Hemphill could get their football program on track. They have talent in those pineywoods just as we do. The fans need to get behind their guys and expect them to win. Don't have the attitude of we gonna lose.It has to start with the area mom's and dad's and school administration and it can happen.If the coaches are just there to draw a check get one who wants to lead these young men to a good program..It can be done. The talent in that area is overflowing. Get rid of the mentality We gonna lose. Start Mon. And don't look back.

Looking forward to this game as a Eagle fan.As a team both CC and Newton must focus on the task at hand.I think Newton will give CC the best Defense they have faced this year. In doing so Newton will punch the holes in the CC D and put up points.I say CC will score the least points they have scored all year.

The fans and hometown should start by expecting them to win. Attitude must be postive. In our small towns what is there other than our school sports. Your right Gabe. There is no advantage to the loss. There is an advantage in learning why you lost and fix it and become a better team.In reality the loss made you a better team..I'm done..New topic.

The team with the 3 losses has learned why they lost and made adjustments. They have played a tougher schedule than the 10-0 team also. I can see this as being an advantage to the 7-3 team. With the 3 losses on their record the
10-0 team may take them lightly.

Gabe if Newton hadn't lost a game all year your staff would have them at the bottom of the polls. If you can't interpret the message I was trying to get across your not real smart yourself. Personally I wish you would have not put Newton in your dream poll.

Take advantage of losses? That is by far the dumbest thing said in the entire span of human existence. Go ask your own coach how many of these advantages he found in losing. Positives can be found in a loss but theres not a single advantage in one. A loss sucks. Dumb

I think that teams especially in the playoffs will see the losses as a weakness and could have a mentail effect that that may work in your favor.Since the loses are on your record make a postive of it. Yea you can gain advantage from a loss. It shows where your weakness is and you fix it. How dumb is that?? Not many teams go without a loss during the season. When you do lose take advantage of it and learn. How dumb is that??

I am assuming the coaches had them lose 3 games so they could stay out of the setxsports rankings and they could sneak up on people.
 
    

Not my meaning. I think having the loss on the record could work to our advantage mentally with some teams. It's better than being on the #1 Spot and every team gunning at you. No I'm sure Newton didn't intently lose. lol.but since we did..take advantage of it and like you said ....Sneakup on them.

We are not much on polls. They are only opinions of one or a few. One game at a time and be there at the end works.

I like Newtons approach to this season. Run under the radar stay out of the rating.I wish they would have left us out. We will be playing when and where it counts no matter where any poll puts us.

it was a tough one to rank this week for y'all, ...newton back in the picture @ number 10

I know it's right beside the school Dep but I didn't go on the field or inside the stadium. I was at a car show that was held there and that's how I saw it.. One thing for sure, If Lord willing, I will see it Fri night.

I have been to the school but didn't go over to stadium. Should be nice. All is fairly new.

How's Dvilles stadium? will be my first year to visit

Yep..Newton has beat some very good competition.We have played all large schools and except for the first game , we could have and should have won. You guys keep us on the bottom of poles. We will be there when it counts.I PROMISE.
