Richland 45'ing Jonesboro is a huge shocker, especially after how Jonesboro handled Calvert last week. Zephyr over Rochelle is also an upset, but I was wondering if the numbers would help them. Zephyr has 93 (53 Underclassmen) students while Rochelle only has 39 students.
 

Wow didn't even realize about that one. Balmorhea played Richland Springs somewhat close, so the state title game may be close as well. It may take until the 4th quarter before Richland Springs mercy rules their opponent.

Sadly it is the closest spot. I had heard Wylie wanted it in Aledo, so Brownwood may have won a flip. San Angelo for both teams is around 95 miles. They are only 70 miles apart but there is nothing in between other than closed schools or fields that are 80X40.

Isn't Sweetwater a passing team. Because if so I have a feeling 35 degrees, rain, and wind might have something to do with it.

It will either be in San Angelo or west Fort Worth. Coleman and Novice are in between, but Coleman is too small and Novice closed down. Stephenville is the other option, but everyone knows how that conversation would go.

Considering Wylie score, next week will be a district rematch between Wylie and Brownwood. Wylie won 7-3 in Brownwood.

Not for Ryan. They lost the flip for home and home. They knew all week it was going to be ice. They decide this morning they are driving up there. They want the game moved to Monday when it's 50. Tascosa coach according to someone said if they can drive up here the game's tomorrow. Denton just doesn't want to play in the cold.

Didn't we have this discussion last week that Tech and Arkansas aren't going to play each other anymore? The games are filled until at least 2018 and Bielema will be fired long before that.
As for running up the score, this offseason should bring a new Tech team. We are looking for a pig farm to practice tackling. If you can tackle a pig you can tackle anything.

What's worse is they will not even use Ozen for consolation games on the girls side. They play at the elementary school. There is no reason not to use the high schools especially since it is YMBL/BISD. Why should any of the 3 Beaumont schools be forced to play in it, when they are not playing challenging teams that they could play in Houston. If it does not go pool play or add at least 1 game next year, then Central and Ozen should just say no and play elsewhere. They have been in the finals the last two years, they will be in the finals this year plus they are in the same district. It waters down the district games and the rivalry when they are playing 3-4 times a year. There is no competition and 3 games is not enough anymore.

I can understand them being violent, but I wouldn't think being a part of ISIS. I listen to K'naan and the stories that the Somalians had to live through is crazy.

Calhoun is barely 5A and they were able to stay within a touchdown of Ridge Point. Just saying.
