  1. I grew up with this team. My neighbors were palmero, Rogers, Oliver, and Brown. The games were fun and only $5. Went to a game last year for the first time in probably three years and it had become all about money. Anything they could to make a dollar. The rangers had a great museum that's only opened during the games. I used to go because I knew a lot of them. Now ithey rent it out and won't let anyone. To make it worse before the game they showed a video clip of Ranger moments and of course there were clips of palmero and Sosa, two known steroid players. There were no clips of Rogers, Pudge, or Greer players that made the team of the 90s. The rangers just aren't the same with the new owners. They really have turned the team into a Dallas franchise and not an Arlington. I just want them to lose to force the owners to go back to that fun team that went to 2 World Series.
  2. I hope the rangers lose every game this season and continue losing until they go back to being the old Rangers. The team that was fun even when they sucked.
  3. This only makes me want Blue Bell more. It's like Chick-fil-A on Sunday.
  4. Monty Williams on the noise at Oracle Arena: I'm not so sure the decibel level is legal, and I'm serious. They've done studies on that. For the competition committee, there's got to be something to that. It does get a little out of hand. Their fans, I've talked about it for years, they have some of the best fans in the league." Anthony Davis: It's definitely a different level, a different atmosphere. It's so loud I can't hear my teammates or my coaches That was a afternoon game just wait for tonight. For anyone planning on watching the game it may be advisable to have the volume on mute. You don't want to have any noise complaints.
  5. Baylors 1-5 and 400 pound Tight End. KD Cannon specifically.
  6. Yeah was hoping to meet the coach next weekend but instead they'll be winning in Brooklyn.
  7. David Lee is out, Igudoula has been okay, Speights and Ezili haven't played much. Livingston has been the downfall today. Last I saw the warriors are -21 with him on the court.
  8. San Antonio is the only one that has chance. Would have included Atlanta but NYPD really hurt their chances. Those 3 teams all play similar styles.
  9. Good first quarter but steph taking too many shots. Now it's Klays turn to take over
  10. This place is rocking. Can't hear the announcers.
  11. Watched Son of the Congo on ESPN last night. Much respect to Serge Ibaka for going back and helping every summer. He went from living on the streets of Brazzaville to starting in the NBA. Anyone who has a chance should watch it.
  12. Wonder if that's why he left. Remember him blaming the defeat of a bond on the drought.
  13. What's not to believe other than no video released. This is an ESPN reporter saying this not a members of the Warriors organization. Everyone knows Steph can shoot. You have Steph Klay Kerr and Barnes at these practices and all of them are probably trying to one up each other. 77 may never be beat though.
  14. Is this the same superintendent who tried to merge old high and rider up there? If so could Ozen and Central be next
  15. Grizzlies down 25 with 4 left in the second. Klay Thompson has 21 in the 2nd and 32 total. Exactly the reason Harden should be MVP
  16. Nobody has mentioned the big hire yet. Southwestern Christian University hires... DAVE BLISS, fresh off his 10 year show cause penalty. With him at the helm they'll be vacating wins the day after the game.
  17. Garrity honest question after the lost last night will Kentucky fans start to questioning if Calipari is right because any coach can come in and get a #1 recruiting class? I know Kentucky hates Pitino but, taking out the first two years where the program was on probation but there stats at Kentucky were very similar for 6 years: Record: Pitino 183-30 (86%) Calipari 190-38 (83%) Conference Championships: Pitino: 6 Regular Season and 2 Tournament Calipari: 4 Regular Season and 2 Tournament Tournament Appearances: Pitino: 6 Calipari: 6 Elite Eight: Pitino: 5 Calipari: 5 Final Fours: Pitino: 3 Calipari: 4 Runner-Ups: Pitino: 1 Calipari: 1 National Championships: Pitino: 1 Calipari: 1 That doesn't include the team Pitino built the next year that went on to win the championship and in my belief that the SEC was stronger in the early 90s. I'm not trying to bash Calipari the state above show he's doing a great job but considering the disdain Kentucky fans speak of Pitino is it a question. Just like Texas or Alabama making the BCS is nice but when is the championship coming? I just want your opinion if you think that The fans are going to reach that point where the Final Four just doesn't cut-it?
  18. It's similar to what the Ivy Leagues have started doing
  19. And also considering how game limits have changed it would be better to list teams who have won a national championship with two or fewer losses which is 28. Out of those since Indiana went undefeated 7 having finished the season with 2 losses including the 1996 Wildcats and 1992 Blue Devils at 34-2. Both played the most games they could have at the time.
  20. Not being a hater but technically there have only been two Memphis was vacated because of Derek Rose.
  21. The thunder won't be a sweep. Will be six games. Westbrook is on a tear and OKC is a tougher place to play at
  22. What can't take a joke. Would rather have my Warriors play the Pelicans than the Thunder.
  23. With Howard's knees, Jones lung, and Beverly's wrist it may be best to just sit out the playoffs and heal up for next year. Let the Pelicans in at the 8th spot.
