Back to junior now what is the line on bmt gold v lumberton white. Is the cupcake crew taking this week serious or are they already planning for a nederland team. Speed kills! I feel a possible upset coming. Lamar do you have a clue about jr football or is mute since png isn't in the picture at this age. Would love to hear your view. Whisperer may not be on here lately but I'm sure he has a pick.
Lum W over BMT Gold-- but not by much, I am sure Lum W will try and control the ball and keep gold speed on the sideline.

Trust me I am not jealous of Port Arthur, all I said was Vidor put 32 on you and WOS shut you out. If you have no idea what went wrong go get some advice from your King. If you Port Arthur Indian fans are this crazy about 3 superbowls that was won by a youth football team. I bet ever Friday at you local barber shop you guys are talking about those state championships you won in 1955 and 1975. What is that song by Springsteen, Glory Days... :P

The truth is you are praying that vidor beats us because if y'all can make it to the Super Bowl again the ONLY way BMT can win is PNG W not being there. ;) BMT dream of a Super Bowl will have to wait until next season. 0-5 is coming!!!!
Vidor is going down this week. Nothing like watching future Indians playing on their soon to be true home field.No praying here, just stating facts that seems typical of a Port Arthur Indian cannot accept. I would worry more about BMT beating LumB.Yea, Vidor put 32 on your team so why not? what has changed? I do recall after a few good pops QB and RB were jumping out of bounds. So we will see if Vidor has their number or if Port Arthur White win this one.

I see Bmt gold having a chance to win this one with their speed.
As far as the Nederland teams, I didn't get a chance to see either one of them play this weekend. I will be there next Saturday though.
I don't see black running that defense against them if it is what I am thinking of (mirror defense). Once their back breaks the line he is gone. White has too good of blocking for that defense. I hear there may be some surprises in stock for this one.

For the other games you may be right. PNG senior will be out for revenge against vidor so it may be opposite of last time they played.
would love to see another png v. bmt super bowl. it always makes for a good game.

It is the mirror defense and against Lum R they would setup and the Defense coach would make adjustments once offense gets set. NED W is very physical and not sure how Black will handle that, it will be a good game. Both teams also have a large # of kids and getting MRP kids their plays will be a challenge for both teams.

It all has to do with money and giving each association the chance to raise money. Why would you even entertain Silsbee they are not even part of theSTJFL. Last year pro bowl was in Lumberton, year before that Vidor so Kountze gets it this year . Plus they have the ability to host all the cheerleaders . The Butch is a way better field than PNG but what matters is money, I doubt BISD would give the kind of price the league got on PNG.

my my marie, getting a little excited on here. I like it. pride, 10 doesn't typically play defense. he is a great runner though. I think gold walks on vidor, truthfully. I would love for them to beat Lumberton too. you never know. knowing pride, if they lose, it wont be from a lack of game film.
I think ned white roles against blue and pulls out a win against black. just my thoughts.
Thanks, i think BMTG/Vidor game will be closer , not sure if Vidor can go 4 qrts with Gold though . Like I have said before their kids will give 100% and will have fun.

That's it really. This just started to get fun. here's my take on the difference between you and myself. I don't care whether we win or lose against Vidor so long as my kids have fun and learn. We will still be there round 2 it just might be to root for my sons friends on other teams. We got fall baseball, school basketball, little dribblers and straight A's in GT classes to worry about. Losing a football game won't kill us.
Why not want to win? You can win, learn , and still have fun correct? There is a difference for me it GRADES, ATTITUDE, and SPORTMANSHIP. I see where you listed grades, tell him to keep making those grades that is what is most important at least in my book it is . :P :) :D

And yes my kid made some field goals and i thought it was cool. No touchdowns tho so once again you have misspoken. I guess all you can do is add numbers from the STJFL website. Great job!

Even Bmt G put up 20 on Black and would do even more now (And dont throw no crap out there about second team as #10 and #12 were both on the field). White WILL score multiple times on black and will come away with the victory. Sorry Loopy.

STJFL should still give Ned White the #1 seed, do the right thing even though the game was taken away from them. Same holds true to BMT Sr seed them with there wins against Lum White and Blue. At least let the playoffs be acurate for those that do win know they did it the honorable way, not by some BS regarding the spirit of the rule.

The use of the GoPro is to document the conduct of coaches that Are F'bombing 5/6 year old kids and refs.
Today, we a very vocal parent/Fan on the sideline. As soon as this parent saw the GoPro as I appoarched them , the situation was immediate defused.
These adults that conduct themselves in an unsportsmanlike manners have very short memories and 1,000 reasons to justify this conduct.
I'm very hesitant to answer any questions on this board because those who are against the ones that spend 1,00 of hours away from their families and constantly are being bombarded with personnel attacks while having every word possible twisted to justify thier conduct.
But your right, it's a shame that I have to take these step to insure that any situation is handled correctly And that STJFL survives as a league.
So why would anyone be against all STJFL Rep wearing a GoPro to eliminate these adults that ruin such an event for children.
#proudGoProuserBobcat 101 if you have coaches that are dropping the F bomb towards 5/6 year olds and refs why has the board not kicked them out of the league? You mean to tell me you have seen and heard this and you did nothing ? If there is coaches within the league that are doing this to 5/6 year olds and nothing has been done is insane. You should also remeber that you and the board are not the only ones that put in hours of time volunteering and spending time from their family as well. The STJFL has no reason but to survive as long as the league is ran according to the By Laws, why would it fail? My last point is when you strap on that Go Pro make sure you wear it so that it is pointed straight at your face, because like you said "why not wear a Go Pro to eliminate these adults that ruin such an event for children" .

" STJFL Board members are held to a HIGHER STANDARD" is what the guy from Orangefield stood up and said in front of every coach and other STJFL Board member at the coaches meeting. So my question is what standards are you following? Give us TRUE facts that support that the BMT Coach was wrong and better yet have those facts availble to show at the next board meeting. If you got nothing to hide and you feel your doing what is best for the entire league SHOW US THE FACTS TO BACK IT UP... Pretty simple wouldn't you think?

Marie - I can tell you the reason. WOS is in the small school division. It doesn't matter to the Lumberton STJFL president if they are 5-0 or 0-5 / in first place or last place. It has no bearing on his child's team (Lumberton W sr. )and the playoffs. And he's not mad at WOS for smack talking on a forum. He and other board members that post on here are unable to remain objective when it comes to BMT. One certain board member has a picture of himself on Facebook (for the world to see) holding a go pro camera so he can nip adult unsportsmanlike conduct in the bud. Maybe he filmed the bmt game? The comments under the photo and dates posted are kind of interesting as well. Facebook is a wonderful thing....
In the coaches code of conduct it states that if a violation occurs the board shall decide punishment. Punishments include - verbal warning, probation, suspension, and a ban. I will be happy to post this document if anyone is interested. The Nederland coach was verbally warned and then suspended. I really have no idea why the STJFL did this other than a BMT team was the one Ned beat 65-0 and BMT is always accused of running up the score. I would guess it was for appearance sake.
The coaches code of conduct nor the bylaws address the forfeiture of games. They do however address discriminating against players based on their ability.
For those that think this isn't personal consider this : before the game was over the STJFL president (who's kid is on Sr lumberton W) was on the phone at halftime with our league president complaining!
It's all really nice and neat for it to be handled this way. Funny how the "ethics" committee met twice without including the BMT board member. And she was a member of this committee. The STJFL president recused himself from the vote as did the bmt president. But it really doesn't matter because it was already decided before during the two meetings that were held prior to the board meeting.
All this goes back to peewee football and a personal grudge. No one should think otherwise.
You are kidding yourselves if you think this isn't personal. Another thing to consider when evaluating BMT's guilt or innocence. There is an email floating around from last year in which the STJFL president says if you think this isn't personal for him then you are wrong.
Icewater/tea - it's hard to just let it go when there are things like the above going on. Just like you are teaching your players, we are teaching ours. Teaching them that right is right and wrong is wrong. And to stand up for themselves and more importantly others. This is just a game but somehow it's representative of so much more than that.
Why is the assumption that BMT is guilty? There is no evidence - just supposition. I challenge one of the board members to post the video! The video that was used to suspend a coach!! I also would be interested to know who took the video? Is it clips or a complete game from start to finish? Just post it - After all the truth will set you free.I have seen that board member on Facebook and find it troubling that others on the STJFL board do not take issue with that post. I do beleive this is the same board member that stood up during the coaches meeting and said the STJFL Board members are held to a HIGHER STANDARD. If there is a email from the STJFL President making that type of statement about it being personal then at the next board meeting it should be submitted and the person that wrote the email should resign. When members of a board start feeling they need to were Go Pro Cameras and send emails about personal issues from things that happened 2-3 years ago there is a major problem on this board. If other members of this board do not see this then they are just as blind as those people that feel there is nothing wrong with the current ledership. Not one person on this board should feel it is their league, the league belongs to the KIDS and this board is not doing what is right for the KIDS.

WOS 4-0, PNG W 4-1, Jasper 3-1, Lum W 3-1, Lum B 3-1, Vidor 3-3, BC 2-2, LCM 2-2, BMT 2-3, PNGP 2-3, Ktz 1-4, OF 0-3, and Ned 0-5
So based on records and that is what the STJFL will go by WOS,PNGW, Jasper and 2 Lum teams should have a good rivalry next year. Hope league will schedule them all to play each other.

Ned W comes out very physical and not sure if the smaller backs at Ned B can handle 4 qrts of punishment. Special teams will also be very important and how the MRP kids are played as well.
