  9. LOL, yeah Exxon Mobil Refinery views with aging nontraditional commuters vs clear scenic river hill country and young beautiful coeds.  If it came down to the 2 schools I think you could get a hobo off the street to recruit for Texas State over Coach Woodard and it would still be no contest.

  16. It's confirmed, Texas State is recruiting him at WR but he mentioned they will be reviewing him at camp for QB also.  He camped at Louisiana on Sunday and will be visiting La Tech this Saturday.
  17. Michael Jacquet III of Beaumont Central is reporting a Texas State offer.   Anybody know anything about this that can confirm?  He's projected as an Athlete 6'3" 185LBS.

  19. Yes, University of Louisiana has definitely improved all across the board in athletics.  3 bowl wins in 3 years for football, basketball won conference, softball is still in the championship hunt, and baseball is ranked #1 in the country.

  21. Kerry Walker (6'3" 220LB) OLB picked up an offer from Texas State recently. He has already visited the campus by taking in the Western Kentucky game last year and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and experience. He claims that he "would love to play there" when talking about the growing TXST Football Program. He currently holds offers from Houston, UNT, Northern Illinois, Tennessee, and Utah State. Commit #2 is in and it's a big one.  Texas State nabs 3-star WR Justin Gamble of Stoney Point HS out of Round Rock, TX.  This 6' 170LB star chose Texas State over Texas Tech and made it known yesterday that he is going to be a Bobcat.   What he had to say about why he chose TXST:   "Coach Johnson shows that he really cares.
