  1. Kept who in check? Crosby scored 53 points on BH last year. It was obvious y'all didn't have FBS players on your defense. On the offensive side the only reason y'all kept it close is because of the two FBS player at receiver who won't be suiting up while the other won't be starting.
  2. Dude, y'all literally scored all those points because of how bad Sterling's offense was. Fumbling it at their own 10 yard line, throwing awful picks inside their own 10 yard line, etc. Sterling wasn't expected to be as bad but they gave up 77 the week before y'all so 59 isn't really a surprise. All Montgomery had was that RB last year which is why PNG beat them in the playoffs. They don't have anything, which is why they lost to Dayton too. You call being down 25 in the 4th quarter when they get off the gas respectful?
  3. Y'all's dbs are terrible, why wouldn't we take advantage of their poor tackling with screens? That's just good coaching. He had 184 rushing yards last week though, I would imagine that's going to be a similar number on BH based on film study. BH doesn't FBS defensive players all through their defense like CEK and FBM do. I tell you right now too, that FB Marshall team y'all beat last year is nothing like the one now with Banks moved to receiver and a different QB.
  4. I never claimed we were legendary. I know high school football history and wouldn't make dumb comments like that. Manvel just got dogged out by Shadow Creek, they wouldn't be able to stay on the field with CEK either. Just like y'all wouldn't. Lol, y'all couldn't even stay on the field with MW.
  5. Only to show how bad y'all looked that night too for reference. One thing for sure about opening night is that y'all don't haver personnel anywhere in the hemisphere of CEK. Crosby has a running back that can truck through your defense like #4 from Mag. West did. IDK why they were even trying to throw the ball so much? They could've just lined up and mashed y'all into the dirt with the running game.
  6. Forgot all about that, and CEK curb-stomped Shadow Creek in the playoffs last year. At least we scored on CEK. When the person I knew at the scrimmage left it was 6 tds for SC to 0 for BH.
  7. Lol, look at King's players and then go look at yours
  8. Lol, I'm talking about not a SINGLE one. The only player they have that would start for King doesn't even start for them. Dude is comparing losing to 5A Manvel who got blown out the very next week in the playoffs by Huntsville to 6A CEK who lost 41-24 in the 3rd round to state semi-finalist Katy? It comical at the least. Even when Manvel was 6A Katy destroyed those D'Eriq King led teams worse than they did King last year.
  9. For those who can see it. Crosby running back wins player of the week in the Baytown area while the BH QB finishes as a finalist: [Hidden Content]
  10. Y'all got destroyed by Magnolia West and beat and beat a couple of bottom feeders. I guess that's what y'all expected though? Crosby is 2-1 just like most people thought we would be. Don't get hung up on opening night, because if that's the case the way that #4 from Mag. West trucked his way through your entire defense doesn't bode well at all for trying to stop the Crosby running back. Kid had 14 carries for 102 and was running right down BH's throat and over the top of your DBs. I'll tell you this, that Mag. West team that beat y'all wouldn't beat Crosby. They don't have near the QB Myles is and don't have skill guys like us on either side of the ball. I actually think when we beat y'all that BH will be playing La Porte for 4th place.
  11. Yeah, I can't find the stats but King only threw for about 100 yards. They never needed to throw it. The "zero depth" part was interesting to me considering we beat FB Marshall with 7 backups on the field? Lol, people keep going back to that King game like anybody on this board has personnel anywhere comparable to that. Baytown Lee probably has better skill guys than BH.
  12. That Duncan kid at Lee is just as good as Wilson, they play nearly identical but I think Duncan may be bigger and faster? That Boston kid is just as good as any of the PAM receivers too. We should have close to everybody back by the 30th to come continue our ownership of the Golden Triangle.
  13. "Forcing" the ball to someone doesn't necessarily mean the accumulation of targets or catches. Forcing it to him is when he runs a corner route, is double covered and Allen throws it anyway missing the wide open backside check down like he did against Marshall trying to hit Hale in the corner of the endzone. He did the same type stuff last year on film. We'll see how they look against MN this week but I think the game with Lancaster is going to be an interesting one simply because it'll be the first time this year y'all played someone who can match y'all athletically.
  14. It was just to opposite, all I thought Holdren could do was run because that's all he was able to do when we blasted y'all in '20. I was surprised how well he threw it against us last year. As far as the QB passing numbers it just depends on how you break them down? He was 17-28 for 200 yards against Sterling. Dixon comes off the bench and makes his only catch of the game for about 45 yards which also happened to be BH longest play of the game, go figure. Outside of that he was 16-27 for 155. 155 passing yards on 27 attempts probably isn't going to beat Crosby. And that was against Sterling's defense which gave up 77 to a Brazoswood team that had to sneak by Beaumont United. If you watched the film you saw Crosby get home a lot on Lee's qb, he's just a better athlete than most of the kids on Crosby's team and could escape pressure. I don't think that's going to be the case this week. As far as Shaw I think the only reason he's averaging over 100ypg is because he's gotten to play Montgomery and Sterling. Outside of Hagler last year and O'Neal in like 2012 BH has never run the ball on Crosby from the RB position. Looks like our other stud linebacker will be a go this week too which is a bigger get than when we're able to have Womack back on offense. BH has a couple small fast receivers but you see what Crosby did to one of the best slot guys in Texas in Ja'Koby Banks. Larkin cleaned him on a square in and Banks was lucky to finish the contest. At the end of the day you really have to throw all the numbers out of the window though. We know BH will most likely play their best game of the season against Crosby we know we're going to get screwed on several calls that keep it closer than it should be.
  15. Y'all have had three state championship coaches to FB Marshall's 0 the last 15 years. If it was all about athletes Katy would never win state titles. Yet, y'all are still willing to pay the premium for first round losses. You want to talk about bad coaching, y'all almost lost to Dayton last year. I don't have to say anything about him. Everybody watching him stand on the sideline says all it needs to. I bet Abseck will play him against Crosby though. If you need verification for what I'm saying that Steven Avery guy probably knows who his mom is, tell him to go ask her.
  16. After watching the film from the BH vs Sterling game last week I feel very confident that the Crosby ball carriers will have a good day running the ball. BH's dbs are kind of small and slow so they play a lot of off coverage even on short passing downs. I think the Crosby staff will be able to exploit that with the screen game. Roberson had 95 receiving yards and 2 tds in his first game back and I expect him to have an even bigger night on BH if they play with the single high safety like they did Sterling. BH does have two vey solid d-linemen but I think the o-line will perform well after having already played six P5 defensive linemen on the schedule. On defense as long as we don't get beat deep I don't see how BH scores a lot of points? I think they're running the quick passing game because they don't think their o-line can hold up? Very first offensive play for BH against Sterling the QB threw what would've been a pick six against Crosby's dbs when the Sterling defender just squatted on a hitch. Both of BH's running backs are small, they're not burners and don't run with a bunch of wiggle which is a good thing for the Crosby defenders trying to tackle them. QB won't kill us with his feet like Holdren did either. He escaped the pocket one time on Sterling and had a huge chunk play if he cuts it up but chose to avoid the contact and ran out of bounds. I believe we're getting one of our stud linebackers back this week? Crosby is going to blitz and BH's qb is going to have to show he can handle/escape pressure or he's going to get sacked half a dozen times and probably throw some picks trying to rush the ball out. BH's personnel looked physically imposing on film last year. This year they don't. If Crosby doesn't turn the ball over or have a bunch on penalties I expect us to have a good night against this version of BH.
  17. Imagine fixing your mouth to say that when BH has all the benefits and still can't win. Dude is dealing with things like players on his team being killed during the season, kids "acting a fool" is just something he's got to deal with more than other coaches. You're talking about no discipline but in the recent games we've played BH has far more personal fouls than FBM. Either way, I'd rather my son play for a guy who wants to help him vs a guy who tells a recruiter to pull a scholarship offer from a kid "because he isn't going anywhere" and give it to Herndon.
  18. Nah, I don’t have any family from Baytown which is where the majority of BH’s population originates. We’re Louisiana field hands. Notice the T is silent.
  19. Correct but it doesn't even matter when they happened. Like Coach P said, you're only allowed to put 11 out there. We put our 11 out there and King handed them back to us. What did happen was that we got the opportunity to develop some. Larkin probably wasn't going to start and now he's probably leading the district in ints. Those backup linemen and linebackers we've been playing have looked awful solid since the King game when most of them didn't even know they would be starting that week.
  20. So will getting excited about beating teams that lose to Dayton
  21. Not trying to convince anybody we're going to stroll through the 5A-D1 playoffs at all, this is way more difficult. I'm just letting you know we're going to stroll through y'all. Last year's FB Marshall team wouldn't have beat Taylor by 47 points so y'all beating them really means nothing at all. They would just throw the ball laterally and run right by your poor tackling defenders this year. Y'all can't convince anybody of anything because y'all haven't done anything and it's highly unlikely that y'all will. BH has a mental complex when it comes to Crosby. They're soft and fold under pressure just like they did in a crucial situation last year. Other times we just flat out destroy y'all but every now and then our QB tears an ACL or we overspend. If that wasn't the case y'all would have a 12 year losing streak against Crosby instead of being 2-10. *PS - We only beat PAM by 15 last year
  22. So you're saying we looked good in our 1-2 start last year? Pretty hysterical considering you were one of the main ones on here with the "Crosby definitely isn't what they were last year" comments. Crosby has played nearly identical the first three games last year as we did this one. The Crosby vs Carthage score is nearly identical to the Crosby vs FB Marshall score and the Crosby vs Lee score is nearly identical to the Crosby PAM score. The only difference is that we didn't have anybody on the schedule with the personnel CE King has in the trenches. Maybe you've seen improvement but you still haven't beat a team with a winning record this year yet.
  23. Yeah, go tell James Williams the reason Crosby keeps beating him is because we're lucky. Last time they're coming off a 49-0 win over Nederland and this time they go hammer Alief Taylor 47-0 the week after. Meanwhile BH gets destroyed by Mag. West in the opener doesn't even get in the endzone until they pull their starters in the 4th quarter and their fans have the nerve to critique us with the same record vs a weaker schedule. All those leaks at Enterprise have really effected their thinking.
  24. Yeah, and we're so good we even have to make excuses for wins. Lol, y'all squeaked by Dayton last year and literally nobody cared.
  25. Crosby outscored BH by something like 23 points in the second half and OT last year. Y'all always blow games, that's why y'all are BH. We usually always win these "lucky" games which is why we're Crosby. Yep, got it handed to us by CE King then turned around and got the beat the highest ranked team of anybody in this coverage area. King just destroyed Pearland 45-7 too, btw. I said at the beginning of the season that "At some point this year Crosby is going to be very good. When that will be and if it'll be good enough are the only questions?". That's verbatim what I said. We don't need people to show us how to respond to adversity. Coach P literally said he was playing for OT in the FBM games because of how many time we've had to respond to adversity the last couple years and how well we've answered. Yes, we should've blow Lee out. We should've blown a .500 BH team out last year too but often times teams have their best night against Crosby. Before the season Coach P said he wanted Crosby to get back to being a more physical offense. Our style of play this year is going to be to pound teams into submission with the running game. We haven't even been able to truly do that yet because one of the best backs in the state in his class has been hurt all year. Think about it, the only reason BH was in the game last year is because they could drop back and throw bombs to Herndon which Holdren created additional opportunities to do by escaping pressure with his legs. Well, your current QB has 54 rushing yards through 3 games, Herndon is done for the year and the next best player y'all have is basically a yard ornament. I think BH is going to be in a bunch of 3rd and longs without the ability to run the ball and will need a bunch of big plays to keep Crosby from blowing them out.
