Not really sure what you mean squeaked by livingston. They were playing a defensive set which made it very hard to score. The kid was shoving our forwardwith both hands in the back inside the box. Would not call that a gift.
As for nederland, a very young and talented team who will be very good in the next year or so. As i recall png only won the second time around by a score of 2-0, they beat Central, and the went to overtime with Vidor. why then is it "squeaking by" when we win by 2 goals. Nederland is better than their record shows. -

I believe that it was either 1988 or 1989 when Lumberton started boys soccer. I am not real sure when the girls started.

This year will mark the 21st straight year that the Lumberton Lady Raiders have made it to the UIL playoffs. It also marks the 2oth consecutive year that the Raiders have made it.
Congrats to both programs, community and to all the kids over the last 21 years who have been apart of a great tradition. -

I too have heard that the card count was originally more than two. I have also heard that Memorial was celebrating after a goal on WBs sideline and in front of the WB bench. If this was the case then the red cards were proper since this can be a form of taunting.
