  1.   Yet equaled the number of national championships in the history of Aggie Football...
  2. Was just thinking the same thing - guy is absolutely awful. Those weren't even close.
  3. Yes, I remember Gates and Jobs doing a lot of complaining about "doing it themselves." And warren buffet. Or while we are stereotyping, maybe those three are just too darn intelligent to be republicans?
  4. Agreed. Also a couple of brilliant democrats. Good examples ;)
  5. Nothing to see here. Not like Mr. Jarrett was sending his maid out to buy oxy's by the case like the esteemed Rush Limbaugh. That shepherd needed about 5 minutes to be completely forgiven by his morally righteous herd.
  6.   ....and right on cue.   It's a brand that's all.  Year in, year out, sell more merch than any other university in the Country.  They were the highest grossing athletic department even before the ESPN deal.   Just the way it is.   But you are right, it has been almost a decade since their last MNC in their highest grossing sport.  I guess that beats seven and a half decades though...
  7. Agreed. And ridiculous. If he wasn't bat sh+# crazy, he would take his 2 billion and run.
  8. Let's not forget W. He was denied admittance to UT's business school based on poor academic performance but got into Yale. I wonder how that happened? And Nash, that is an impressive list but very much the exception to the rule. Education and grades are very much an indicator of intelligence, which in turn is a very likely precursor to success. Take a look, for example, at NBA owners. Very much a billionaire's club. I believe they are all college graduates (I researched this for another issue not long ago), and over half were Ivy League educated.
  9. Was just about to ask when the Red Raiders play.  Wreck em Tech!   Pretty good draw for a regional for Tech...
  10.   So as a conference, they doubled up the University of Texas?  Pretty impressive ;)
  11.   I wouldn't play him at all for wearing that porn 'stache.   On principle alone...
  12. 6-1 Texas still batting btm 3. Fight at the bat rack.
  13. Orangefield's Jace Statum knocks in a run for the Ags. Horns lead 3-1 top of 3rd.
  14.   His brother is an unbelievable hooper (6'8").  Mikey and Mickey to Lubbock.  I don't think this deal gets done with out Tubby on the scene either.  I also think A&M would have gotten them both if their basketball program wasn't a dumpster fire right now.
  15.   Yes it would be.  He is excellent at returns as well.  Hard to believe he was the second best on his HS team at it though.  Deon Beasley was one of the best I've ever seen at the HS level with returns.
  16. I wish ol' Johnny was still playing CFB with a game in Jones Stadium in Lubbock next year.  The sight of Vienna sausage can flying out of the crowd would be epic.
  17.   I agree.  I would have loved to see who voted how.  But I really don't see that vote ever happening now.  The agreement to sell renders it moot.  I really believe there was some serious arm twisting going on behind the scenes by the other owners for this "solution" so they wouldn't be forced to make this vote.
  18.   Exactly.  I'm not quite sure how to take the fact that people are surprised she was convicted because there were three African Americans on the jury.  If you were on a jury where a white man or woman was being tried for a crime and that individual was captured on camera committing this crime, would you vote to acquit just because they share your race?  Of course not.  Why would you think someone of a different ethnicity would be any different?  I would hope most of us moral, principled people who take any oath we take seriously, regardless of our race.
  19. You should join me in the ACLU!! 😀
  20. Donald Sterling proved how clueless he is (in addition to the deep-seeded hatred he harbors) in the Cooper interview. What has Magic Johnson done for the African American community??? Does the man ever read?? It was very telling to watch his interview and then watch Magic's. Two different classes of human beings. As for Lebron and other players' "stances," they have every right to use their status to try to bring about something good and productive in the league in which they are employed. I applaud him and have much more respect for someone who uses their status as a platform rather than remaining silent. Great change requires action, even if it is merely by being heard.
  21.   May be the funniest thing ever posted on this board.  Seriously??
  22. (He says with his tongue firmly embedded in his cheek...)
