Excellent point. Always need an odd number to make sure there’s no stalemate. You’re in.
-
I don’t doubt you a bit. Hagar and I were just trying to score some grub
-
@Hagar and I are going to have to be the judges of these two claims. Let us know where we can pick up a pot of both. We promise to report back our reviews and return the containers....

Except being athletic, being able to defend his position or any position for that matter (in an almost strictly man-to-man league), and having any motor whatsoever. He does check the “tall for his position” box and “can shoot it a little” box. So if those two things are every box, then you would be correct.

Agree both should have returned. Argued with Aggies last year when they were trying to tell me Hogg would be drafted last year, possibly first rounder. He can’t guard his shadow. Going to have to become very elite shooting to have any shot at the NBA.
-
@no-look a little birdie told me that aggy got axed by the Jacks at Reed today in a scrimmage. Kevon Harris apparently went off.
-
If I’ve asked you this before, I apologize. Is Mrs. Hagar also a believer?

In the Nash Nest with a “hawk’s eye” view. I’m told it’s turned into quite an event.

Banks was given the Heisman too. He snoozed, he losed. They can join the host of Texas haters that had to “settle” elsewhere.
-
Who is this Bobby Wolfe kid who butt dialed the Texas coaches last week? Like a dozen times. No thanks Bobby, we’re full!

I am telling you, there is not a safer bet that my buddy Hagar would love the Darrell’s Special. Turkey, Ham, and Roast Beef, with American, Swiss and Provolone Cheese. Top it off with some lettuce, mustard, jalapeño mayo, and get this, roast beef gravy. And the bread is without a doubt the best I’ve ever had on a sandwich. I have had a couple that various places have tried to replicate, but weren’t even close to duplicating. Here’s a picture of that deliciousness: [Hidden Content]

Just saw that part. I’ve changed my stance from “I understand it” to let’s hope we get lucky. Although I’m sure our GM extraordinaire believes we’re only one receiver away. The biggest problem is the one wearing the headset and the one taking snaps imo. The shame is he could hire virtually any coach he wants but no coach worth his salt is going to want to put up with the GM. And the GM is him. So it’s a circular problem that is very hard to solve. I really wish the ghost of George Steinbrenner would haunt him and impart some wisdom. I really do.

Of course. Along with Bammer, LSU, or any other team whose jewels hang low enough for them to latch on to. They had one championship when they left the Big 12. They’ve added about 10 since then.

Oklahoma aggy, Mississippi aggy, Texas aggy, they’re all the same.

Best gumbo now that we are entering “gumbo season.” I had Floyd’s for lunch and I would say their seafood gumbo is high on any list. Was told today by my go to guy in restaurants that Bayou Cafe on Major has a “four meat” gumbo that is the champ. I’m going to have to try that out soon. Not sure if any of you guys have had it.

He’s a top 20 talent. Do we have any indication he will be better in Dallas? Not only no, but probably not. Question is whether there’s a better WR that would be available in college. Probably none as good as Cooper was in college. Because he’s still getting paid on a rookie contract. Definitely not saying this was a good trade. But for a team desperate for a WR, I somewhat get it.

Now that you mention it, someone else told me the same thing. You may have the winner there.

Mario’s is awesome and I’m married to a dago so we’re pretty picky. We can agree to disagree on Franklin’s. I hate waiting but that place is the stone cold nuts on brisket. I’m not a big pork ribs guy with BBQ joints since we all know someone who can cook the mess out of them on their own smoker. Beef ribs on the other hand are a different breed. Franklin does a pretty good job with them, Killen’s in Pearland are really good, and Louie Mueller in Taylor is probably still the king. Hit up Micklethwait’s though. If you like the accoutrement of barbeque along with really good meats, that place is among the best. If I make it up for a basketball game this season, I will treat you to a lunch there.

Just saw this. Mixed emotions. They don’t have close to a #1 wr. Cole and Hurns are serviceable #2s to me. Question is whether you could get someone better with the pick (probably not in the college ranks) or via free agency. I’m still not sold on Dak but this year’s QB class looks to be weak. I say tank it up next year and get Tua.

Realistically, just from my eyeball test, we are not a Top 10 team, much less a playoff team. To me, we look like a top 15-20 team. We are good, not great, or even very good, but the future looks amazingly bright. How we only have 1 loss at this point is based somewhat on luck (just as we have been really unlucky with some losses in the past) and a lot on coaching. The great news is I truly believe Herman is who we hoped and thought he was. All that being said, i think it’s not if but when this year’s bubble is burst. It could be any week now, and possibly this Saturday (although Okie Lite is not good).

I was leaving that to the others because I’m not a huge fried fish fan. I like it, I eat it, but not an aficionado of it. That being said, for my taste, I like Pappadeaux as much as any. I value consistency as much as anything and it’s always good. I also prefer the way they batter. It’s not the same as their oysters which I think are easily the best in SETX. Now if you include Galveston in the geographic area, give me Gaido’s for all of the above.

Note to CP3: if you want to play tough guy on the floor, best do it with someone other than Rondo. He’s not a dude that’s going to let you slide with that stuff. -

One thing I’ve come to believe: any religion that thinks it has a monopoly on the keys to to heaven assuredly does not. -
A good Big 12 team or a doormat like aggy was?
