I’m not saying there weren’t blown calls on both ends. It was pretty bad in general imo.

Both had double doubles apparently. Love watching Lofton play as well. He’s a throwback, old school craftsman out there.

My favorite was late in the 4th quarter. Hefner gets a steal near mid court and a one on one with a defender. As he’s going up, the defender almost undercuts him, Hefner puts his left hand on the defender to catch himself as he lays it in with his right hand. Official under the basket blows his whistle and raises his hand to call a presumable “and 1” foul. Official trailing the play comes running in and waves off the basket and calls the offensive foul. It was a clown show at times.

A lot of them. Officiating was pretty brutal. But that game shouldn’t be close enough to allow officiating to play a part.

Really good win. Boo goes 10 for 10 against a pretty good defense. Hopefully Sam will be ok.

Clover finished with 23. He’s also a long 6-8 who makes it very difficult to get to the rim.

How did the freshman play for Memorial? I was extremely impressed with him last week. His shooting got them back in the Concordia game.

Was this regular season or fall ball? Tigers will be fine. It’s tough to play these types of game without being fully staffed. Especially if you don’t have the ones you do have on their A games.

I’m sure Bo can’t hit a golf ball like John Daly either. So if basketball guys can’t play baseball like Bo is your argument, okay. Bo also probably couldn’t keep from being put on a poster, in his prime, by either of those guys. I was merely saying from a pure athletic standpoint (I.e., athleticism), most of that isn’t found on a diamond anymore. Which may be why the recent World Series, played by two of the league’s most storied franchises in two of its bigger markets, finished right behind Seinfeld reruns in the tv ratings...
