Horns have hit rock bottom. Lost to Cougar High 3-2 last night. 14-19 is the worst 33 game start in school history. Just beating last years 33 game record. I appreciate all that Coach Garrido has done for college baseball. However, something is just not right.

I'm not referring to inner city schools. 2010 was a long time ago. I can guarantee you things have changed. The teacher has been fired and will be punished. You just can't put your hands on a student (unless you are defending yourself). I'm just saying I know why she did it.

Schools are in desperate need of substitute teachers. I challenge you to sign up and see what really takes place in our schools. You would be shocked and amazed. If you don't want to do that, just "creep" on some social media. You will see and hear things that will embarrass you. No matter what, it takes an unending amount of restraint.

Not necessarily so. No one in my family has ever been a Gander. (My brother-in-law did teach there, but we forgave him for that digression.)

The school or district may want things a certain way. The school district has ultimate authority over all booster club activities.

Not true. You set it up how you want. GCM initially had an all sports booster club. After several years passed and support diminished, that booster club went away. Now all sports have seperate clubs (if they have one at all). I would bet baseball has the largest membership. Sterling has had seperate clubs for the past 30 years. The parental support in GCCISD is not something to be proud of. Don't get me wrong, there are many parents that put in numerous hours of their time to support their programs, but with a district our size, there should be far more members.
