I'm just asking because if a school district is in your city, surely the Mayor should be aware of the gross negligence which may have occurred during the alleged culprits reign. I'm not saying city & school are meshed to that degree, I'm just trying to find out how they mesh. I think the mayor would have some say in some form. I may be wrong, but I'm just asking.

Thank you Englebert, this is the same problem BISD has.  The rules don't apply to the adults, just the kids. If a kid made  a distraction of this sort, he/she would be suspended or expelled. No PUN intended (he/she).

Yep!! So, TEA has stumbled out of the Gates as well. I still haven't gotten the answer of what's the Mayor's role in this whole fiasco?? She has to be involved in some fashion. $4 mil can't leave your city without you knowing

Just as you are a Central guy, I'm an Ozen guy. i know things that i may not mention on here because I believe in the "handle things in house" rule, but I only take that so far. To answer your question, this Saga is only the beginning. Personally I would like to see a Clean House, but that's just my opinion & I'm not afraid to voice it.  If anyone in BISD has a problem; I'm not hard to find. I'm the big mouth volunteer Coach who isn't afraid to Challenge wrongdoing; especially when it involves kids. So, like I said, the Saga continues.

The Annual Spring Ice Breaker Basketball Showcase in Houston Tx begins today. A few local Teams & players will be on display throughout the weekend. A few will also play in the Senior Showcase which also takes place this weekend featuring some of our local talent. I said there is no way they should be within 15pts with the caliber of players @ Central & Ozen. Again, not a knock on Coach English at all. He truly is Amazing, but let's not kid ourselves Abe. There is no way Nederland should ever be able to play Central/Ozen a Man 2 Man.  Hats off to Coach English, he has those kids believing & playing well above their levels at times.  I don't expect Nederland to be within 15 pts in either game this Season vs Central.  Although that's why they play the GAME. JMO

I really think who protects the basket & rebounds best wins both games. Toe will be a man amongst boys, Ozen's guards can score and penetrate with the best. It wlll be a great Chess match.  Go Panthers!!!

Central is the team to beat, those yung pups got a shot on the big stage & they are hungry, but my Panthers have the best Guards in the area. So I can't just give the Jags the title, they will have to take it.  As for Nederland, must keep an eye on those guys. Great program in Mid County. Taking Claim to what's "OURS" Go PANTHERS!!!!!!
