Odds on Silsbee losing 2 district games in a row after a 50 something game streak are pretty slim. I don’t see it happening, Tiger bounce back game tomorrow night.

That’s good to hear, so HJ and HF will be with Huffman Hargrave, Liberty, Livingston, Shepherd and Splendora. How do you think they will do in that district?

You gotta play somewhere I guess. I imagine it’s pretty hard to make the team or get playing time in Bmt or PA. Those teams come at you with 10-12 good basketball players and can sub a fresh 5 without missing a beat. I’m sure a lot of talented kids don’t make the cut. I just wish they’d come play at Vidor and be a star lol, I know... not going to happen.

All new starting 5 would be my guess.

That might be tough unless they schedule some preseason games or match up in tournaments. They won’t be in the same district next year, neither will HF. Not sure what district those 2 schools ended up in but Silsbee will be in a district with all of the Orange County schools and Lumberton. They will probably still run the district in basketball I’m sure.

Idk about that HF has lost to Vidor, OF, LCM, WOS and Lumberton x 2 this season. I think it’s very surprising and more likely that Silsbee just had an off night... a horrible night.

Oh boy... well at least HF won’t be in Silsbee’s district next year. This makes me think maybe Vidor can beat Silsbee next year. Might be crazy to think that but hey at least we beat HF at their place this year.

Gladly leaving that 5a district and joining 4a, I think Vidor can compete for a playoff spot here.
