Same man I just wish we could have played with the same fire and importance that we did against y’all this week. We wanted to beat y’all bad but we expected to beat Splendora. The Vidor Pirates looked like they had a completely different team on the field.

I’m down with WOS and Jasper then lol Silsbee not so much. I didn’t see any of y’all’s fans on the Vidor thread after a bad beat but I did see AAW...

Man did you guys see that Silsbee lost their game bad and lost their cool bad. Looks like they took a worse loss than Vidor, yes I hope AAW sees this. Got smoked on the field and still showed their class.

Thanks for checking on us after a tough loss this week but you may want to get your own house in order before you worry about others. I told you we would be in the same boat after this weeks game but it looks like your boat may have sprung a leak or two and your sinking fast buddy.

The Livingston Lions have the inside track for a DC... all they gotta do is beat HH and Splendora.

Thanks. Another game where we won the stat sheet but this time we lost the game. I hope this wakes everyone up and they play with a purpose the rest of the way.

I hope the Pirates get the ball first this game and go score. I want to see them play with a lead, I think you will see them play inspired with a lot more juice if we can start right. Every game I can remember this year the other team takes the opening possession for a score and we are down 7-0 right out of the gate, kinda demoralizing. We end up needing a score coming out of halftime. Which we have gotten and played much better in the second half. We need to put a full game together, what better time than Homecoming.

And you’re going to piss people off again... Sometimes the throw has to be there too, if you’re running wide open just put it on the guy. They’ll get it turned around from this little 2 game skid. I have confidence in that, I look for the Pirates to win out.

I have no control over the team and don’t want any but I’ll state my opinion of their performance. Even if it’s wrong, take it however you want or ignore it idc. Sorry if it offends you coach but I’ll leave it at that. Hoping for a bounce back from injuries and a bad game to make it a great season. I’m hoping for chaos at the top. HH beats Splendora and Vidor beats HH with all 3 teams only having 1 loss. I could easily see Vidor losing another game though unless they unleash the dawgs that want to play hard. I could also easily see Splendora losing a couple, they did lose to HF. The Pirates have to win out or it’s Splendora/HH district to take. Maybe there’s a sleeper out there... Livingston? Nah lol.

*Slowly puts the pipe down and exhales... How did he know? You guys might have some of those boys back by the time we play right? Last game of the season I think, who knows how that will play out. It’s obvious to me that there are 1 or 2 boys on each side of the ball that we can not afford to lose.

Yep 3-5 yards before contact on most plays, quite embarrassing but I didn’t realize until it was pointed out to me that one of their best linebackers was dinged up. His plays were limited, another nagging injury should be good to go next week.

Hall of Fame off topic convo lol back on topic. What do you think WOSd99, who wins this one? I think Vidor rebounds in a big way, had 2 key starters out and another played limited snaps. All should be back next week, idk why we had nagging injuries off a bye.

I honestly couldn’t tell you, they have been decent when called upon but most teams just run it on us. I thought Splendora would throw it but their passing game doesn’t even look that good. They just ran it with #22 same draw play 90% of the time. We’ll probably let him go for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns before they figure out we need to do something different. We run our base crap until it doesn’t work, I don’t think we come into each game with a plan to stop the specific opponent. Just wing it, do what we do and see if it works. Next thing you know we’re down somehow trying to comeback... literally every game this year but this time we could get the lead.

Vidor has got to quit starting the game so damn slow, trailing 7-0 after every opening drive this year. We are constantly playing catch up and this isn’t the type of team or scheme to do that with. I still think the Pirates win the game, 31-17.
