No. I want to be speculative about us beating Silsbee lol. Didn't mean to get all in your feels, just wish we could have played. Good competition brings out good competitors. I honestly think we would have been better off and possibly won this weeks game if we played y’all. But you know what, we’re talking about a game that never happened and will never happen so I don’t know what we’re talking about lol.

I love it, didn’t know people did late night SETX around these parts. Man I wish week 1 wouldn’t have been cancelled then we would have seen the results. Yes I think it would have been a great game against 2 evenly matched teams.

Ok go talk to Dave Campbell and everyone else who picked Vidor to place first in the district. Almost every single prognosticator who has any say in HS football took the Pirates to finish at the top so I guess you need to voice your ever so important opinion to a lot of people. I think our team will win out and then we are back in play for DC if Splendora takes a loss. You won’t talk up your team because you know they can’t back it up this season. You have no chance whatsoever at a DC. Silsbee can’t win their district no matter what, WOS owns that.

This is a good conversation and I’m glad you’re hanging in there well past 1 am. I got nothing else to do so I will continue the debate out of pure respect. I do wander though AAW, why don’t you like to talk up your own team but you want to call out people who talk up theirs? Interesting how that works but I think I know the answer.

Injuries play a role, I believe you will see a different team going forward. Similar to the team you watched against Jasper. Idk how we got all these injuries and players dinged up playing limited time off a bye week but it happened and it cost us a W. If you don’t think we could have beat Silsbee week 1 because we lost this week then you are sadly mistaken. I don’t know if you’ve noticed yet, but you don’t have some juggernaut over there. Maybe you will realize it this week, I wouldn’t talk down on other teams too much if I were a Silsbee fan this year.

Let me fix that for you... I agree. Silsbee will lose to WO-S in an embarrassing blowout. But the talk of Silsbee would beat Jasper and WOS back before Silsbee had even played a game was ludicrous. Then they eek out wins over Orangefield and Liberty, two teams that really aren't that good. Heck, Lumberton proved that they suck against Silsbee and Vidor will destroy Lumberton. Based on what I have seen from Silsbee this season (game film I have watched) I just haven't seen the team that some Silsbee fans were speaking of early in the season. WE WILL BE IN THE SAME BOAT AFTER THIS WEEK... How are the Aggies doing?

I’ve been waiting for that woodshed game but it might not come this year. I don’t think we have that killer instinct, we play just good enough to win or just bad enough to lose. I don’t see us getting blown out but I also don’t see us beating the breaks off anybody.

We had a dominating loss lol kinda like the one you are about to endure but not as embarrassing. WOS about to light up the scoreboard, I’d be surprised if it’s even competitive.

And they are in a rebuilding year according to the fan base lol. They got lucky with a hurricane cancellation or Vidor would have embarrassed them week 1. It’s funny, I didn’t hear them talking sh.. after we lost to Jasper.

Play the kids that put forth the effort and get the best results. Play them a lot lol, whatever it takes to get the win. We can’t lose another game, screw getting 3rd in this district. That’s would be a disappointment based on expectations.

We have one, he plays defense. Caught plenty of TDs from peewee through JH to Freshman ball. Once you get to Varsity things change, we don’t throw the ball unless it’s out of a run formation. Ain’t nobody got time for a wide receiver around here, we got tight ends and running backs.

Right, that’s the way we play unfortunately. We do it on purpose I think, it’s a part of the game plan at this point.
