  1. That's exactly right Gringo. They were then able to pass a little bit after they established the run. I was totally surprised when they opened up in the I formation the first play from scrimmage. They also changed some players positions which better suited their abilities. New Caney still doesn't have the speed to play with alot of teams though. But if the coach will stay with a power run game plan they should be able to eat some clock and stay competitive.

  5. Tarkington is strong. I've seen them play 3 matches now. They have one really strong hitter #9, but play and work very well as a team. I believe they lost to 5A Spring in the championship at Montgomery this past weekend.
  6. Really, then why would they wait until the week of the scheduled game to cancel if they scheduled a tournament on the same day. Kind of not fair to the other team who are now a game short, and a home game at that. Oh well, good luck in the tourney.
  7. Can you advise why Silsbee's coach called and canceled coming to New Caney on Friday the 24th of August.
  8. I saw a kid from Klein Oak kick one over 80 yards season before last.
  9. Walmart in Humble had it on the stand on the 12th.
  10. Gringo, which two players aren't playing? Is their a reason why they decided not to return?
  11. If Listi only threw 65 pitches he should be able to pitch again in the third game if necessary.
  12. I like Splendora in a one game series. I'll say it will be a close one 3-2.
  13. P.J. is a solid pitcher. He's 6'3" and throws in the low 90's. The one game I saw him pitch a couple of weeks ago their were at least 10 scouts with radar guns behind the plate and some more in the stands.
