Three consecutive state titles and a returning all state quarterback get Lake Travis a #39.

Willis is definetely way too high. Aren't they like 4-26 over the last 30 games. I know they were like 0-20 for two straight years.

This will be a good game. Lake Travis lost two very good line backers as well as a couple quality athletes on the offensive side. I do however think LT pulls it out.

Neither is my team but I saw a playoff game between Brenham and LaMarque around 2005. I believe both team scored twice in the last two minutes and Lamarque was close to scoring a third time as time expired. That game was played in Katy and was flat out fun to watch.

Maybe a little off subject but a 4 seed won state in softball a couple years ago in 5A. Major impact player was out with injury during district play but available for the playoffs. So I can see how it could happen in basketball.

[/quote] Hey Bucksitr, The rules are different for playoffs than for the regular season. In the regular season you can only play on one school night except for a certain amount of tournaments. That is why they play on Fridays. It is after school. A play in game uses the playoff rules. At least that is the way it is to the best of my knowledge.

Dean beat BH and Ross Hales 5-1 in next to last game of district. IMO, New Caney has one of the best coaches around. I have seen him at the high school cages taking and pitching some BP. When I talked to him, he and Jordan Harrison were throwing to each other.
