17-34, 176 yards, 1 TD 1 INT. 1 FUM. Wasted alot of the final 30 seconds dancing and scrambling around.
Had Brock Osweiler or Tom Savage had the exact same numbers with the exact same result, people would be calling him GARBAGE...HE SUCKS... NEVER GONNA WIN LIKE THIS... GET RID OF THE BUM, etc.
Just curious, where is all the outrage??
Cmon man, one bad game. Savage and Oz was trash. The world knows Watson potential. Qbs with high ceilings have more margin for error. Watson is going to improve, no need to compare him to lower tier qbs who didnt produce consistently.

I agree 100%. He never looked comfortable and was pretty bad today. Hate to say it, but the team I saw today looked like a 4-12 team. Defense looked to get better as the game wore on atleast.
Lol, classic overreaction!! Making a judgement analysis based upon one bad game. Watson was off point blank but to overlook the fact the running game looked good and they lost an interior lineman is a bad take. Also add in that your best intermediate receiver and deep threat didnt play. Houston will be just fine. 4-12 is selling them way short. Lose by 7 against Patriots on the road playing bad is expected.

People were talking about state with this team, and I was a little reserved, but if they stay healthy, it's a real possibility. They have all the boxes checked.
Offense has the potential to be special. The more games played, the better they will get. 5 passing and 5 rushing Tds in 2 games is not bad for an O that's not really clicking.
Defense is a close 2nd all time at Memorial behind the 2011 squad. I'll take 18' Dline, 11' linebacking core, secondary is close. 11' would have won state if they were in 5A.
Special teams is just good. Great penetration, kick return, punt return, the whole package.
Right on, I was thinking the same thing as far as a comparative defense.

I was just telling the guys at work that Memorial will put up 50-60 points if the passing game is on. Tbh, Madison has a decent team but its about matchups. Memorial defensively is a tall task to go up against. McMillan didnt play the 1st half and they still held Madison to 6pts. They only got that score because the wr just made a better play than the db who really had a int. The defense has a violent aggression to them. They dropped two potential pick 6s. When Memorial passing game gets in sync they will be a very dangerous team. Both rbs went over 100 yds. Im excited about this team. Its early but after seeing them play for 8 quarters you can tell that Chaney, 10th grade rb, is a stud and the defense is a wrecking crew!! Kam has good mechanics but have to work on his timing with the wrs. Hopkins is a threat for a big play anytime he touch the ball. Teams better have a punt protection or else!! Lol!!!

Whoa!! and wow!!. That kid was very crafty!! Hope he comes back, he's competitive!

Or is it the team the Clay kid is the rb, he's a very shifty one!!

Is that the team that had the stud qb last year, if so that team is good, heard they battled PA B in the bowl until they wore down.

If you were referring to United, we'll be back after this weekend...
Kade Scott is a 10th grade starting rb, talked to his dad about his ceiling. If any rb can muster up 100 yds on West Orange, you have to be better than just good. Ready to see how it turn out.

I'm sure that you guys will have a game plan but red played PA Black in a dog fight a couple of weeks ago. Don't think for a minute that they not skilled.
Shhh!!!, let them think its going to be easy, PA B matchedup with us, we will surprise everybody else with our speed on offense and defense!

My kid played for PA red in the past, so I pretty much keep up with his peers. PA B is the real deal. They pretty much shot themselves in the foot against PA R. I heard they won it all last year. Idk if they are that good but PA R didnt get a first down the whole second half!!! That defense will be a problem for any team they face!! I factored in the blocking and speed we had on PA R and couldnt do anything them once their defense got rolling. Im glad we got them out of the way early. I can recall them kids laying our kids out multiple times where we thought the kids were seriously hurt. They could have put up 28 on us tbh, their mistakes cost them. I don't see them losing to anyone unless they play us again. Lol.

I missed the scrimmage but Kam Ladia has good football mechanics as a passer, it was said Chaney looked good but Im wondering if the Neal kid got any reps at rb. He was previously mentioned but haven't heard anything about him since. Hopkins and Kason Williams have....can't wait till Friday!

There's something about this Morgan cat, I've been watching him closely. So far his approval rating is high. He's checking all the boxes. I've personally seen him at little league football games and practices. He encourage the kids to go to church, has the kids doing testing already, etc. So far, so good. I hope his efforts on the field match or surpass his off field contributions.

Thank you for correctly proving mine! Watson took the blame, the point is everyone know Watson is a top tier talent, why overreact off of one bad game. Savage and Oz consistently didnt produce. Comparing one game to seasons is very premature. Jimmy G had 3 ints, but fans aren't saying he trash. Why? Because they know football, good qbs can have bad games and not be trash but a duck is a duck, a stud is a stud. No need to compare off of one bad game!!lol!!
