  1. Sorry about the late updates. They will not air on TV until the 25th.
  2. OH yea, this will be shown on TV on tomorrow February 9th. I'm still trying to get the air time correct before posting.
  3. Foxsouthwest sports will be presenting the player of the year award by ford built tough. Desmond Lacey senior QB and Northwestern State signee will be featured as one of the players in the running for this prestigious......Good LUCK Desmond I hope you win this award, but if you don't you have still had an awesome high school football career!!! Way to go!!!
  4. There was 3 TD's called back. WS will have to have a better start next week. Congrats TIGERS!!!
  5. Blah, Blah, Blah. Alto did only what WS LET them do. Enjoy the win!!
  6. You have a right to your own opinion and I have mine. And my opinion is WS beat themselves. Yea he was in your players face because they were hitting players, namely Lacey out of bounds and talking trash. I don't care what you say, Alto is irrelevant and can't and won't stop WS from reaching their goals. You beat us....WOW...what a statement. It's all about the playoffs who cares about ALTO, not WS. So on that note, enjoy the win!!!
  7. Even when he was out of bounds. Not classy at all!!! He got hit, but it didn't phase him. The line let him down, but they're young and will learn from this. It wasn't because Alto was dominant. WS could have won this minus the errors.
  8. First of all, Altojacket it would do you well if you learned how to read. I never called anyone out, but I did reply to a post. Secondly, in all my post I never said WHO would win. Anyway, WS beat themselves. Lacey made good passes but the receiver #4 stopped running. The balls were absolutely were they needed to be. He made about 2 bad passes. The other balls were catchable and hit the receivers hands, they just didn't catch them. Alto is still not better, WS just shot themselves in the foot. Alto had no class trying to hit Lacey when he was already out of bounds, but he's still standing and ready for the Wolves. Them little hits weren't nothing!! Yea you won, but the game could have went either way. WS had way too many penalities and mistakes and the line wasn't doing their job on defense or offense. If Lacey would have been selfish he could have ran over ya'll, but he stuck to the plays being called, so on that note ya'll lucked up.
  9. Excuse me but you were the one who stated how many points Hemphill put on WS, so who's comparing other games. Please don't contradict yourself. Anyway, I know it's anyone's game on any given night. I never said how much WS would win by or if they would win. I was stating facts. It doesn't matter what has happened in the past with these two teams, the grind with these two opponents start at 7:30 and that's all I'm going to say.
  10. And why are you even talking about West Hardin and Burkeville or Hemphill. I can understand Teneha who you beat by very little or some other team....seriously Burkeville! WS margin of victory was bigger. Anyway, as stated above, to be continued. I will repost Friday night.
  11. I'm not saying they don't. My point is that Lacey knows how to take a hit. He's bigger and stronger than last year so it really doesn't matter who WS plays he tough enough to handle it. Anyway, Groveton beat Alto, Shelbyville beat Groveton, WS waxed Shelbyville. How ironic....Seriously dude, WS is not worried about ALTO in my opinion (my opinion not WS's). We will see what happens at the game though...to be continued.
  12. Lacey danced around last year because he had to. This year this is a whole different team. Lacey is not a weakling either, he's use to taking big hits but you have to catch him first. Alto is not the first team who hits hard and won't be the last. Did Alto play Garrison this year? WS has played them many times and they hit hard. Alto better worry about way more than Lacey if they plan on winning cause Lacey doesn't have to score for WS to win.
  13. Smack talk in P-land. All I've been hearing is SA smack talk about how moving down they would run all over 1A. It doesn't matter who WS plays and beats, na-sayers would still say "they haven't played anbody", "that team is not good this year".....yotta yotta, EXCUSES!!! WS standards are not set by Alto or SA, their goal is for bigger and better things. A lot of people just don't want to give credit where credit is due, the fact is regardless of the teams they've played, they've started off to a great season!!!! Now their 0-0 and they know that!!
  14. Before the Tenaha game, Desmond Lacey was presented with his Built Ford Tough Player of the week trophy for week 1. This week, the WEST SABINE TIGER TEAM will be presented the ARMY STRONG TEAM OF THE WEEK AWARD during the pep rally. I am proud of the TIGERS!!! Way to go GUYS!!!
  15. Speaking of East Chambers.....why haven't you EC fans voted for Glenn Roberts at the beaumontenterprise for player of the week?
  16. Speaking of WOS....why hadn't you WOS fans voted for Colin Janice on beaumont enterprise for player of the week?
  17. Having a master's degree is my assurance that I can read. I'm glad that we agree on some things. I am not in the business of misinforming. I know Twine is an athlete and he can't be shut out completely. He's a stud. Not what I meant at all. As stated before, it was a 360 degree turn from the yards he got last year. That's all I was saying. Just checked Lacey's stats and he accounted for 7 TD's. He ran 4 and threw 3. Amazing!!! Anyway, I love some football!!!
  18. I am so glad for this young man! I was watching the game on TV and I'm glad it wasn't as bad as it looked. Thank you Lord!!
  19. By the way, WS has way more talent. Lacey could depend on many people on his team. This was obvious when WS played Beaumont Kelly also and won 60-21. Please don't try to degrade Lacey either cause he is a great athlete like Twine and he's going to get his too. I get it though, you're probably from Hemphill and bitter about the game. I understand. Anyway, WS will enjoy both of these wins and I hope they continue to win. I swear people think it's ok to talk about every athlete but Twine unless it's good, well you have a long year ahead of you. All athletes have to be ready to be critizied good or bad, but I didn't do that. All I said was they shut him down, meaning (compared to what he did last year ) they stopped him. Gosh!!! Have a coke and a smile!!!
  20. The score was 52-14 at the half. Scoring 14 points in two quarters is totally being SHUT DOWN considering WS is a little 1A school and Hemphill is a 2A school. Yes, he did score in the second half, but they SHUT HIM DOWN enough to WIN the game. Twine is a great athlete and he was going to get his, this will happen all year. My point is, they didn't let him run over them like last year when he easily ran all those yards, so yes they shut him down!!! No one's trying to belittle the young man. I was at the game and I am being truthful, like it or not. Football is a team sport and it doesn't matter what numbers Twine put up alone, they GOT wooped.
  21. Desmond Lacey, senior QB and district MVP (2011) from West Sabine had an outstanding game passing and rushing. I believe he had 5 or 6 TD's. I know he want get the credit due, but he was amazing. He also verbally committed to Northwestern before the game and had interests from TCU, Sam Houston, SFA, La Tech, Missouri, and Lamar. Twine was shut down in the first half, but as the Tigers got a little winded he drove the ball a few times. He did not score all the TD's for hemphill. There was another kid, but I don't know his name. Lacey intercepted a ball Twine threw and ran it back about 80 yds. West Sabine has a new team and they're looking good for a 1A school that's underestimated.
