Really surprised Kelly didn't get in at 25/24 they went into OT with last week's #9 Houston Christian and beat St Pius who was ranked last week.

Kelly beat Corpus Christi John Paul They will play district rivals St Pius X next in the championship game of their bracket. They are in a bracket for the teams that got 3rd in their 4 team pool.

Kelly is playing in this tournament. This tournament has a very tough field including St Johns and Bellaire Episcopal. Here is how Kelly has fared so far: Bellaire Episcopal 67 - Kelly 28 just to much size for Kelly. Conroe SATCH beat Kelly by 3 not sure of exact score. Kelly beat Pope John By about 20.

Any updates?

This just makes me wish Kelly was in the YMBL even more. Kelly was only down by 2 with a minute left against Walker and ended up losing by about 9 I feel like Kelly could compete pretty well with some teams in the YMBL this year.

Kelly lost to O. Perry Walker 56 to 46. Was only a 2 point game with one minute left I was told.

The final score was Kelly 42 - Buna 32. Kelly plays some tough defense on the perimeter. I was worried before the game as Buna definitely out sized Kelly. But Kelly was just more athletic in the end I believe. Both teams should be good this year I think.

[/quote] well we definitely are our tallest player until after football is about 6 foot MAYBE 6'1. After football we will still only have a kid about 6'3 as our tallest.

Kelly is also waiting on some players from football 2 starters most likely and 1 sub. Maybe more subs not sure. Also the freshman at Nederland that is really good went to Legacy for middle school I'm pretty sure. And he is real good. Also I believe Kelly lost to WOS by 7 or something like that. Kelly should be pretty good this year all we are missing is size. And we are missing it big time.

[/quote] Yes they did it was still scoreless at the end of the first. And even though it was 20 - 0 at half time I was really happy with the first half performance. We need to throw more. Our running game is pitiful. I was also really impressed with the Freshman that played pretty much the whole game at strong safety I believe it's Connor Quinn and if you have been around Kelly for a little you know both of his brothers were great players. I'm excited to see what he will do throughout high school.

Kelly played Nederland Black I think it is and won by 9 not WOS. Maybe you have a JV score.

[/quote] that is ridiculous to say. He led a VERY successful program at St. Anne he's a good coach and has a very good football mind. You just obviously have a personal problem with him.

Kelly QB Will Darling is good even though Kelly is not good. 25 of 37 passing with 371 yards. Kelly receiver Thomas Falgout has 241 of the receiving yards. We've also had one bye week and Darling was hurt for one game so he's only played 2 games.
