  1. Congratulations Bears on a good and long week of baseball from what I heard you boys never gave up.  Good to see the Bear program back in the playoffs and Its good to see these seniors finish on a good note.  (5 games in a week-crazy)..tired arms could be the reason for the 12 hits by WOS.  Congrats as well to the Mustangs and KJ on the win now you 2 teams go represent Orange county in the playoffs us Indians will be pulling for you both.

  2. Silsbee should be front runner they will have the bats and Pitching however BC from what I have heard has a couple of move ins that will contribute in the DC battle between the 2 teams...As for as the rest of he spots its unpredictable will be another exciting season all the way to the last game. IMO

  3. Going to be a nail biter wish I couldbe there but will be at the madness..going to have to go with BC at the end for the win. it will be whoever is best prepared on defense..coaches at BC are knowledgable on how to defend against this offense hopefully LCM will wise up to the fact that you can't bear crawl or whatever they do against this scheme because it hasn't worked in the past and coach D will run all over you. BC by 14 if LCM goes with a different defensive scheme will be a great game to close to call

  4. Looks like they are handling this the same way they have everything else this year.  I agree Trawhon would have been a good choice but they need him on defense and the LCM coaches don't play players both ways from what I have been told and he is an asset to the defense.  One would think they would be working someone as back up.  Im stinking to my early prediction Indians by 7-- and I hope Im wrong.  Best of luck to you guys.

  5. Kregger your right it all depends on which Cleveland team shows up so LCM defense better be ready to play.  As for as the QB at LCM it should be interesting Friday night.  I didn't see last Fridays game but have heard the backup did alright but all he did was hand off there were no passing at all.  I don't know how he will handle any pressure situations or passing so he had better come ready to play.  Chris17 hope your right about the upper classman but seeing how the coaches have handled everything else this season I don't see that happening. By the way who would that upperclassman be hopefully he has QB experience if they do  decide to work him. Seeing how the QB situation is in question for the Bears sorry friends but I will have to take the Indians by 7.  I hope Im wrong.

  6. I agree with you Chris17 this game should be a Bear win but the way the games have gone with turnovers and play calling who knows.  Starting players both ways is a must for them to be successful but I don't see that happening and as for as the secondary needing help from what I have been told and (witnessed on at least one game) when a certain secondary player is leader in  tackles and assist in the games there is a problem --somewhere. Hopefully they will get that Win Friday night and start district play next week on a positive note. Best of luck to you guys.

  7. Wow told you a couple weeks back if the coaches at LCM didn't wake up it was going to be a long season for the bears.  Looks like they are still in hibernation...When the HC/DC changes roles with the OC one would have to think it would be bad but not this bad.  Maybe they will get a clue now and reverse their roles.  Last few years they were great at what they did this year is another story.  Is the OC just trying to protect the QB because of relation or is he just blinded?  Y'all have other players that can play that position he is not the one for slot T nor or the backs you guys have there is only one that will take a hit or block for the other when running the ball.  It looks like they are scared to make contact (ex..4th qt #5 all you had to do is make contact).  They are to much of an I not a team.  Defense did well just need to find a replacement on one side of the ball someone is clueless over there.  So far every game that is the side they score on every time.  If I was an opposing coach I would run that way all night long.  Im still pulling for the bears I have a lot of friends over there, so coaches wake up decide what your going to run and give the seniors and players year to remember..

  8. My son and I was able o make the scrimmage last night and all I can say is wow.  LCM is going to struggle with winning a district game this year.  What are they thinking over there in the bear cave.  The OC and DC switch roles?  The OC changes the offence but not quite sure exactly what it is Slot T sometimes then spread then something else.  The DC...has he ever coached the defensive side of the ball?  I always thought he was an offense guy for his 30 plus years..Key players not in the positions where they need to be and no offense to the QB's.. but coaches if your in the slot T shouldn't that be one of your best all around athletes?   Your first one is decent for the spread but not slot T, and I know LCM has players that can play QB my son has competed against them for many years.   Also what is up with players only being able to play one side of the ball LCM is not PNG you should have your best athletes on the field even if they play both sides.  You can't say they will be exhausted if they play both sides last night was a prime example Orangefield had most of their players playing both sides and LCM was lucky to even score once on them.  Hopefully things will change over in the cave if not it's going to be a very short season. .  From the rumble in the stands I hope the staff make the needed adjustments are things may get a little harry over on 87...I wish the Bears the best of luck this season.

  10. I don't know if this is true are not but if it is I hope a certain administrator had nothing to do with it.  All I can say is what I witnessed the times we played them this year and that was a certain Administrator did a lot of coaching from the stands.so if I had to speculate some decisions that were made this year was probably not from the coach. But Im just speculating from what I saw and  I'm hoping this was all Trawhon's decision if it is true.

I wish Trawhon the best he is a great coach and knows the game of baseball--- now Coach T sit on the other side of the fence and go enjoy watching your son play he is fun to watch.
