Stats we received from the EC coaching staff indicate that Tramain Thomas has passed the 1000 yd mark and Donte Raymond is close at 907 net.

What a great win for the HI Cardinals!! It has been a tumultuous season for the cards and I'm personally thrilled that they had a big win for homecoming and before the end of the season.
-
Okay, I normally don't get into this kind of thing. But, this is the second or third reference or inference that Thomas is "afraid of" or "runs from" his opponent. That's a total mischaracterization and I surmise that you all know that. Stop.
You won. Congratulations. It was a good night for the Kountze Lions. Best wishes for a great last game and post season play if it is to be.
-
Tramain was in for the last play or two. Trevino went back in earlier in the game. So, evidently he's okay. Heard Donte Raymond was a little slow getting up a couple of times, but seems okay. (This is all fan talk -- nothing official!!)
The Bucs need a little healin' time. Afraid they're not gonna get it playing Hardin next Friday. Sheesh! What a season.

TT went in to pass. Incomplete. Couldn't convert. 2:43 left, Kountze takes over but draws penalty. Game is in Kountze.
-
6:47 left in the game. Score still 14-13 Kountze. Lions have ball at about mid-field. Tramain playing some. Still limping.
-
Let's see . . . Vance McDonald out after serious injury last week.
Tramain Thomas on sidelines limping and in pain.
Carlos Trevino "limpin' worse than Tramain."
Yikes! Not looking good for our Bucs. Hang on, boys!
-
14-13 Kountze, 21 secs. left in 3rd
-
Tramain's on the sidelines in pain. Lambert's in. Then EC fumbles. Score remains 13-7 EC with 6:14 left in 3rd.
-
I'm not sure. I don't have any info on turnovers. I believe Kountze will receive the 2nd half kick-off.
I heard EC stripped the ball from Kountze at least once. Don't know about any others.
-
Tied up 7 to 7, 5:04 left in 1st qtr.
-
10:15 left in the first quarter, 3 plays into the game. Kountze has a TD and a kick.
Kountze 7
EC 0

Good luck! Your neighbors to the north are all pulling for you!

EC was better last year than this year... and kountze is better this year than last year! Ask any ec player if the game last year was a tough one... the answer will be yes. Kountze had 5 turnovers and didnt get blown out. this year is different and EC is gonna get upset. my pick Kountze 28- EC 20
I don't know on what you're basing your assessment of last year's EC team and this year's EC team. I tire of this kind of unsupported conjecture. Save your fingers the typing and your brain the effort of hunt & peck.

i know lots of people from buna and most...handle it well...
I tried to qualify it with "latest-posting Buna fans." Wasn't picking on the whole town.
-
Hey, some of you latest-posting Buna fans. Set the example — handle losses (and wins, for that matter) gracefully, regardless of how fair or unfair you think the game was. Hint: Shhhh......
-
Set it free, people. The game is over and has been for nearly 72 hours. Look forward!
-
havent seen EC play.. but buna has a big defensive line.. and if the oline from ec isnt able to block them... look out. this game is too close to say..
Well, now I'm getting outside my comfort zone. I can regurgitate facts, but assessments get me into trouble almost everytime. That being said, as I have watched the Bucs play all season, the minute the Bucs' opponents take the field, I think "Uh oh, they look big." And, in fact, in most cases I think EC gets out-sized. However, I think that EC's speed and discipline carry them. The discipline (or poise, as it was put earlier) is what will make the difference in this game. I think their experience (winning seniors, winning coaches) will help in that area, too. We'll see . . . That's the reason we show up on Friday nights!
Go Bucs!!!!
-
this is gonna be a high scoring game...
I don't know about that. I haven't seen Buna's defense, but unless the EC defense decides to nap on the sidelines, I don't think it will be high-scoring. The Buc defense just keeps getting better and better, IMHO. Anyone agree/disagree?
EC 28
Buna 21

...I'm not a psychologist, either. But I did think about staying at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
EXCELLENT, X3. ;D

You know, ECBuc08, unless they've seen the Bucs play, they just don't get it.
Tramain is one talented player, for sure. But, there's a whole group of players that are EXCELLENT, as you stated. When they're on their game, it's pure artistry in motion -- beautiful to watch. And, when they're off their game? . . . well . . . the Bucs STILL find a way to win.
Don't take our word for it. Go watch the games. You won't be disappointed.

C'mon everyone, circle around. 1blue needs a group hug. Either that or a scrip for Xanax. Chill. The post is about Buna and Kountze.
Buna wins, IMHO.
-
And I would say that EC's defense just keeps getting better. I don't know what Cauthern (DC) is saying or doing, but it appears to be working.
-
Are they charging High Island or are they just being plain ole' nice? Hopefully the latter........but I wouldn't be surprised if High Island got the electric bill in the mail!!!!!
Fan, wrap your arms around yourself and give yourself a hug. You need some love.

No. But, I AM a mama. And from reading your posts, I'm quite sure that yours wouldn't be very proud of you. Anonymous posts picking on a great player and a great kid, who is obviously hurt, is just downright irresponsible. I'm aghast at the poor sportsmanship, here. Again, congratulations Kountze. Y'all played a great game.
