First, how many HJ games have you actually been to this year, have never seen you? Second, most conditioned is ok but don't think they are any more conditioned than HJ. Third, more experienced? HJ went three deep in the playoffs last year with lots of this same team returning, why do you say WOS is more experienced, they had a graduation also? Fourth, I may give you some "faster" but do not agree with more talented. Last but not least, "better", we will see! Hope to see you there so you can see HJ in person and a great game between two very good teams, IMO!i dont get your point. Not being rude or demeaning in any way, i honestly dont get what you are saying to me. My apology.
But my opinion will remain wos is the better, faster more talented team. But its even more than that. They are most conditioned team and more experienced in big games. HJ is good team and will do great things. Just not sure they are in level to beat stangs this year. -
Enrollment is the number of human beings that attend a particular school . 1A to 6A is the designations for a range of the number of students a school may have & compete in those designated classifications! !!!!! The only purpose that classification serves is try to put similar sized schools together in geographic areas(districts) for financial (travel) reasons & competition! that has nothing to do with the composition of a particular team, whether its footbal, checkers, track & field or basket weaving! !!! What does make a difference is demographics ! Is there anybody on this board that believes that a team from the Valley would have as many, or the type of athlete that WOS has, or any of the teams in South East Tx, or Houston or Dallas??? What about a team from Montana? There are plenty of schools in the Valley that are 6A, which one would you take over WOS in a football game. A 6A school may have more to FROM, but that doesn't mean that they're choosing from
Cream of the crop athletes! Once again wos is almost never gonna have the most players on the sidelines, when was the last time we didnt have enough ATHLETES to compete?????NEVER, ANYBODY, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE
I would pick all the 6a district winners in any district in Texas over WOS. Might not win all, but I think I would win most against any 4a school.

Why is it in every thread nowadays bout HJ that a hawk fan brings WOS into the mix? Serious question.
To keep the WOS, Hawk followers entertained !! :D :D :D

The kids warming the bench at WOS, more than likely could start at most other schools. JMO
^^^^^^now thats funny stuff^^^^^^

Whats funny is most of the WOS people you are talking about are really not WOS fans. They support other schools.
And most have not seen an HJ game.

Attack? lol I could careless. I'm from Center and I wouldn't pick anyone else but my home team. Any true fan would. Wouldn't you?
According to some, not if you play WOS.

I am able to view it.

Thanks Fox. The refs at the game i saw didn't seem to pay much attention to play clock. i saw multiple times clock was well past 25 second mark before ref set ball. Hopefully this will work out before district for refs and teams.

In the event that the 40-second clock is running and the ball is not ready to be snapped after 20 seconds
into the count, the referee shall declare a timeout and signal that the play clock be set at 25 seconds. When play
is to be resumed, the referee will give the ready-for-play signal [S1] and the play clock shall begin the 25-
second count. The game clock will start on the snap unless it had been running when the referee declared a
timeout; in that case, it will start on the referee’s signal (Rule 3-3-2-f).Likely going to take some time with learning curve!!

Thoughts on forty second play clock rule.

MJB, that bond issue would go a LONG way in improving BC athletics. The football stadium is outdated, the track surface is 25 years old, I think. The baseball and softball facilities are sub par for the caliber of programs there. The softball team has to dress out in the old PE gym the walk or drive to the softball field to play or practice. The lighting and scoreboards at both fields have had issues since Ike. Field drainage is bad. Seating is inadequate at best. Parking is inadequate for ALL sports. The only way to bring the athletic facilities up to todays standards and to reflect the quality of our student athletes, is with that bond. Not to mention, it contains MANY improvements to SECURITY at all campuses, and improvements to the performing arts facilities too.
20 million ????????

Wow, I was only pointing out my opinion, not downgrading your team, didn't know you would get you're panties in a knot. :o How many "stangs" are still there "since before your whole team was born". History is great, heck Bridge City has had a state championship, but that was before you were born. I never made any predictions nor any derogatory remarks about any WOS players. I am definitely not the most knowledgeable fan around, but I can tell by your post's I have forgotten more about this years HJ team than you actually know about them. Stay in the past, we love it.
