TABC just released their awards for shooting for 2016

All lead the state in their division for made 3 pointers.

Congrats to these young ladies and teams.

Had a football team once in my younger days that was bad.  Not because of coaching or hustle or attitude but lack of talent.  We were getting beat 58-0 at half by eventual state runner up.  Coach of the other team came to me at half and said " I am going to punt on first down to keep score down".  I replied" I will kick your a** after the game if you do that."  Play the game and we will get better.  Losing is losing. 1 point or 100 points same thing.

They had a shot clock ,  he quit pressing after one.  Starters never set foot on court after first Quarter.  WHINE  WHINE WHINE.  I heard an old coach say one time "I don't get paid to make your team better".

Congrats to Allison Davis of Silsbee for winning the Regional Golf Tournament.

Also to Coach Romines and his Splendora LadyCats - Kori Anderson, Sami Anderson, Frankie York, Morgan Wisenbaker, and Maddie Lynch- who finished 2nd as a team. First time in school history.

All these young ladies will compete in the State Tournament April 28-29 in Bastrop at WolfDancer

Well if you have passed 4th grade math you should be able to answer this question yourself. Last years team went 7 and 3 and the year before that 5-5. granted those years schedules were alot easier than this years, but something has happened idk what, but I hope that they prove us all wrong and pull off a spot in the play offs. as for this game i predict Liberty will win 21-14.

Maybe Splendora was a little better than HF expected. We will see in a couple of weeks. Someone told me the Wildcats won their last three games last year with a move in QB and couple nice sized lineman.
