  1. Kudos to Kirbyville, but placing yourself in the category of SLC, North Shore, Lufkin, Abilene, Libert Hill, The Woodlands, Katy, Navasota, Cinco Ranch, Ennis, Austin Westlake, Temple, Mansfield, WOS, Newton, Alto, Nederland, PNG, Diboll, Waco La Vega, etc....is Bananas...B-A-N-A-N-A-S

Nederland and PNG?  The same teams that got SMOKED by Jasper in scrimmages?  Diboll who has already been beaten by 2A K-Ville... the same Diboll team that beat Newton?  WOS, the same team that struggled to beat a Silsbee team who also got beat by Diboll?  Waco Le Vega the team that struggled to put 26 points on the board against Crockett who K-ville hung 49 on?

Just wondering if we're talking the same teams?

    ;D interesting

oh and not to bring u down but we only hung 39 on crockett but we won by five touchdowns when la vega was held to only a two score margin of victory.

  2. I guess BIG_BOB has yet to play Buna.  I think what my man Buna Baseball 13 was trying to point out was that we may not have the best RB (although, when healthy, Mr. Craft can really move it), but we have the most formidable group of backs in the area.  Most teams have one or 2, we have probably 6, if you include QB Clark.  Give the undefeated Coogs a bit of respect out there.

so ur saying that the kirbyville backfield doesn't have depth..i think that kirbyville has one of the best backfields in the area..and one of the reasons is because of the depth and the ability to keep in fresh backs..when u look at it there is B. Jackson, S. Jackson, L. Ford, J. Ervine, F. Rhodes, B. Burley and they all spread their playin time evenly and if u have seen a kirbyville game u would agree that they are all very good backs.

  3. K-ville could use some humilty.  I know last week a few buna people made comments about how big the score would be but not all.  Go ahead and boost how bad you will beat them, it says allot about your character.

Hemphill, seems like K-ville thinks the game is already won, sometimes they get their behinds handed to them!

I was pulling for K-ville to beat Newton but after reading some of the post, maybe not!  I thought Newton needed a good foot in the rear but maybe someone else needs a little lesson.

i dont think its right to base ur opinion by how u see people act on here. most of these people who make ignorant posts arent even a part of the team..most of the time its fans trying to get stuff stirred up not the players

  4. Do you folks that saw the Kirbyville/Shelbyville game think they will compete for the third playoff spot?

i honeslty dont think that they can compete for the third spot. after seeing hemphill and san augustine..they both look much better than shelbyville and i dont think shelbyville will beat woodville either so i think that shelbyville will probably get the last spot instead of third..thats just my opinion.

  5. I was at the game, and Kirbyville could have put 100 on the board if Alvarez had wanted to.  Shelbyville was just overmatched.  Alvarez seemed to tone things down after the first quarter.  But you have to remember, you have to play your starters to keep them in shape.  After the IKE mess, they need playing time. And this isn't Pee Wee, it is the job of the defense to stop the offense.  No running up the score in this one.

i agree with you. when you put your jv in thats when you plan to stop scoring, but you cant help it if they cant even stop your jv team too  ;D

  6. Like running a reverse in the 3rd????

Alvarez is classless in his running up the score, but he wins.

are you kidding me? running up the score?

thats why we ran the ball the whole fourth quarter. and we even had our jv o-line with all back up backs and ur saying we ran up the score. if u werent at the game u just need to keep ur mouth closed. plus they deserved to have that many points scored on them after running to the center of our field before the game on our homecoming...thats classless.

  7. kvillefootball.........sorry i wasnt at the game in crockett, working in michigan, internet broadcast had technical glitches didnt know how the cats d handled the screen thanks for the info.as i said on another post hughey is another threat at receiver just feel like musgrove has more big plays. go to the game friday and cheer the cats on for me, thanks

np, wildcat58. i agree on wat you said about muscgrove and hughey..im just excited on how much our all around passing game has improved this year because of two very good recievers and also the yards in the air coming out of the backfield. and believe me i'll be there friday. not cheering but whoopin up on some shelbyville tail... ;D

  8. wildcat 58, #4 hughey is almost just as much a threat as muscgrove is. he has just about as many receptions if not more and probably more yards than muscgrove. and if u were at the crockett game u would have saw that our defense has improved alot and stopped the screen easily.
