i agree that the sportsmanship was great..it was not what i expected because of the rivalry..great job by the wildcats for overcoming the adversity that the refs threw at us..

i myself like thursday playoff games for two reasons is gives the team that wins the chance to go and watch the team that they will be facing in the next round and it also gives the kids a 3 day weekend/rest period so that they are healthy and ready to start a good hard week of practice that coming monday

i honestly think that kirbyville will still put up 40 or 50 points and the way the defense is playing right now i dont think that newton will be able to run the ball..believe me kirbyville WILL be more prepared and focused than they have been all season..

kirbyville played good tonite..there was a running clock in the second half..san augustine showed how much class they had when we went to shake their hands and they just ran off the field....oh well...who's ready for next weeK?

I am just asking a question, not trying to be wise guy.  Why don't W.O.S opt to play up in 4A football, rather than play in the 3A district there in.  My understanding is that a team can opt up a level , but not opt down.  I don't know.  Maybe somebody can shed some light on the subject.  Thanks

y would u wanna do that? why not play in 3a and have a better chance, than play in 4a and play tougher teams? ??? that doesn't make sense.

well i think kville is gettin way to sure of themselfs.. and they have all the right to but tht can put them in a bind when they come to play them eagles... both teams are good and it will be a great game.. cant wait to see what happens..but im sure there are plenty of teams out there that could beat kville jus wait till playoffs not as easy as it seems... to bad they want get to play marlin or tatum

we will most likely have to play arp which already beat tatum this year..
