No excuses being made.  Just letting you know that Ned is now forced to cannibalize in the playoffs for playing some quality football with 1st 2nd and 3 rd string kids.  Count your blessing that you and ALL other less caliber teams have a chance at the super bowl.  If you are proud enough of the fact that Ned "broke the rules" and gave your team a shot at the bowl from a forfeit loss, then Congrats.  But Believing anything other than the FACT that Ned has the two most dominant team in Jr. is pretty funny.       

For as I can tell nobody is making excuses or crying on here. Just telling the truth, 3rd sting and extra points!!!

Hawk he probably can't tell you what rule you broke but I'm sure he can tell you about the one he broke that no one hears about.

Exactly why the Ned vs Ned playoff game will have more butts in the seats than the rigged up superbowl.  Forfeit loss by a powerhouse lets you skate to the bowl without having to play one of the two best teams in the league.  YEP  well deserved.  Congrats. 

My point Marie! No one knows how the Ethics Committee was created, how many reps are on the committee, what are they investigating, what warrants an investigation, number of votes required to punish and what the parameters are for punishment. This Board is acting with no real authority. In my opinion, their punishments are not even worth the paper they are written on.

The drums are about the only thing that are going to get beat this weekend.

I Don't think them losing their head coach will have any effect on the outcome of this one! A well coached team at this age can pretty much run themselves when the situation calls for it! It's gonna be weird now that all the smack has stopped!

Because these rules are in black and white, pretty easy to understand right. The stjfl are all up to speculation and it doesn't matter it you follow the ones that are in black and white you still get penalized. Maybe once you figure out the stjfl rules you will let one of the coaches know. Thanks for your help

I thought the whisperer had the chance to coach but got his team taken from him by a much superior coach. Just saying!!! Good luck and maybe you will get the senior team next year because I'm not going to try out.

boys of fall, don't be a knucklehead.  you sound just like them.  "there are other ways to control the score".  you obviously didn't realize that it doesn't matter how many you score.  the board isn't saying don't score.  and no ned was not out there to prove a point that game. they weren't playing Bugatti's crew and needed revenge or something.  You are right about one thing though------  The true intention of the board, that they just wont say, is try not to score. 
 
I am not sure how much knowledge you have about the whole situation, buy I would bet that it is just about as much as the board had when they made their decision (not much).  I was hoping this situation would drop. Whisperer, I thought you said this was the spread thread?

Granger didn't break a rule. He broke the spirit of a rule. Same crap Bmt coaches got suspended for. I honesty think he got suspended because of what happened to the Bmt coaches last yr. If they didn't suspend Granger it would've been a Black and White issue. See where I'm going with this. Even tho Granger and Rivers team did nothing wrong or didn't break any rules, both were punished for breaking the Spirit of the rule. WTF

By the way whisperer, it is very hard to hear from anyone what happens at the secret meetings of the board unless you try not to.  Did you know that word on the street is that they really said that ned should have put their backup kicker in to kick extra points.  Now that is funny!!! Oh and despite what they say, they want you to try and not score.  Hence, the discussion that at least one of the plays the kid ran outside.  Hmmm, I wonder if this back that did that was one of the 10 play players that had never run the ball and didn't know better.  I thought that didn't matter anyway.
