i do know that t/am was interested in him.one my sons was also recruited by them as well things happen .grades, decide to go another position. but in this case they signed johnny manzell from kerville tivy.i know you people on here wont admit this but there is not one member in your family that is as talented as johnny manzell is. just to play at the next level is something to be proud of dionte again there have been lots of people who doubted you since you started playing.just use this as motivation to prove them all wrong .yes it does take a lotta hard work to succeed at the next level.but im betting he will do the things needed to succeed.i wish all the mid county atheletes the very best . and hope they will not only succeed but . turn out to be fine young men and women . happy holidays!!!

without a threat at the qb position you become very predictable at nederland this year.wild dog will only get you so far.but thats been on and off for a couple of years now. those that doubt dionte at qb lets hear from you now.without him we dont make the playoffs for last 2 years .hated that they left him in long enough to get hurt after dominating last weeks game.good luck to all the seniors and maybe next year will be better .i look to dump the spread next year for sure .

I think its great !!! Something that should have been done along time ago.Alot of kids with quality arms and ability never get a chance to show the talent they have with coaches not willing to give them a chance .Trust me on this one and ill leave it at that,IN a year or two i might even be able to tell you a success story about 2 kids that never had the chance to pitch in a highschool game pitching at the collage level.But yes to save a kids arm in my oppinion its for the best.Any kid with talent is better off not throwing his arm out in highschool it only makes sense .

Theres no way he doesnt play in this game . Im not saying hes a Brett Farve or anything but hes a competitor.I expect nothing short of him playing .And yes it will be a good game and may the best team win!!

Every team has seniors on them.i was speaking of senior leadership.None of this would have ended up like this if there were true senior leadership they would have worked it out . never the less we will read in the paper every time they have differences i guess. really a shame .i lived here for 30 something years and have never seen such a thing nor do i expect to see this again unless its from this group.

I FOR ONE THINK THIS IS A BIG JOKE . I SIT BACK AND READ ALL THAT IS BEING SAID BY OUR OWN COMMUNITY HERE IN NEDERLAND AND IT SICKENS ME.BUT THIS IS SOMETHING THATS BEEN GOING ON FOR QUITE SOME TIME.WE ALL HAVE OPPINIONS AND WE SHOULD EXERCISE THEM . HOWEVER WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO HANGING A KID I THINK WE SHOULD AS ADULTS USE BETTER JUDGEMENT.90% OF PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD THINK THAT THIER KID IS THE WORLDS GREATEST ATHELETE . THATS FINE ENCOURAGE HIM. ALL CHILDREN NEED THAT.LAST YEAR WE ALL PRAISED DIONTE INCLUDING MYSELF. last year from day 1 from dionte taking over there were no fumbled snaps which were 80% of turnovers other 20% fumbles from running backs tons of first downs  touchdowns as well see stats!!the spread all starts with the qb. as for the defense being on the field wah! wah!! wah!!the first 2 possessions last friday were long touchdowns others were missed tackles simply have not had a decent defense in several years defense is preventing other teams from scoring in case you dont know the true meaning.read stats again!!nederland has never allowed the underclassmen to knock the sh^%* outta the upperclassmen for 10 years or more and it starts in practice !!have them all kicking the sh(* outta each other and it will carryover into games like it once did you cant be scared of injuries for they will happen anyways just part of the game read stats . goodluck to big ned but defense needs to make a stand . and the qb needs to step up as well they must outscore thier opponent like last year i disagree with this team being better than last years last years seniors for most part all played injured all season and still refused to not make the playoffs!!that team will be rememberd for years to come . 1 heck of a job by those kids!!
