take johnny off the field and they wouldnt have played 500 reguardless who the coach was j-football won 4 or 5 games by himself  i agree with mack sumlin has brought excitement but not to the level of johnny football i dont see any sumlin shirts on the market yet lol. using race cards will never win championships trust me just divide the team.

the one constant on defense was number 90 he is definately a d-1 type of player motor ran from start to finish like all season.stampley also never quit all over the place after you got by our linebackers it was all over pretty much whole season i knew if we played a good passing team we would go down and we just happend to face that team in 4th round . kimler is another d-1 talent if he continues to improve like his motor as well.offensively we were outclassed hands down.georgetowns qb was good but we made him look great!! but any decent passer would look great!! we struggled in that area.d line put pressure on qb all day but the penalties killed us.we will certainly miss this group of seniors but we have some great ones coming back next season. congrats for all you accomplished this year!!and thanks for the memories .

yes congrats to both , the new york team was the better hitting team throughout but.... tri county did get on a roll and that pitcher last night in the semi final game was outstanding against cape cod surely he was on the all world series team. another great experience for the guys from midcounty something they will always remember. great job guys just getting there is a great accomplishment.

heres what is most disturbing to me . you have a 2 run lead going into bottom of both 9th and 10th inning . as a coach ,the only thing your concerned with is 3 outs .why not put your best fielders defensively on the field?who in the world would leave cruz at that point in right field.very emotional game  i just hope rangers can come with alot of excitement and pull it off. have been in games like this and it takes alot out of a team.at any level. being on the road doesnt help either.easy solution is to be 1 run better by the end of the night . go rangers !!

lmaorof about comment afraid of losing coaches job? i cant think of 1 coach in jefferson county thats worried about losing his job. even if they dont win  in next 3 seasons

there always have been and always will be politics in sports although its minimal, you just hope its not your kids position. but hey like i say ive always seen it and you just hope its not your kids position.ive also seen when a parent and a coach have a  disagreement, or have words, that the kid never gets an opprtunity reguardless if he is the best athelete at his position to play that position his entire highschool career. so be very careful its the kids that suffer. but will always disagree with this instance .if your kid is good and he enjoys the game enough he can still play college ball no matter the outcome of what parents or coaches think ive seen that happen as well.if  parents just let it play out and not get to caught up in it chances are it will all work out in the end.

i think it had more to do with pitchcount and heat it takes its toll on you -however running yourself out of an inning isnt a good thing - game still far from over we have a good hitting ballclub as well .
