No disrespect to the Hornets as an Onalaksa guy, I’ve just always adopted Tarkington as my football team. I think this week they will take a huge step. But man, the Hornets under the direction of Coach Taylor are doing a fantastic job.

He was going long before Dumas was, this has been rumored he was leaving Kountze after Sells and Donald left since he was a freshman.

I thought he lived In HJ and she was employed at Kountze?

I’ll just say this, most people I know weren’t surprised by it at all.

Busy week in Liberty county hoops, Cleveland hires and Liberty and HD both have very late resignations.

Returners don’t mean a whole lot in DISD.

I mean this as no disrespect to Coach Hancock, but just kind of crazy how a guy with no HC experience was viewed as this great hire and a guy with two head coaching stops and good assistant experience is viewed as a baffling hire.

He should go to a school he either A. Is in the attendance zone B. Has already established residency ( like silsbee) C. If he goes to a school with open enrollment and doesn’t live in the attendance zone sit out the required year. You know follow the same UIL rules that everyone else is supposed to be following. By all means he should do what him and his parents feel is best for him, but with that being said if he is going to play at a UIL school it should be in accordance with UIL rules.
