Kville_Kats. Good to see that Kirbyville WildKats made the playoffs with that impressive 2-8 record.  Too bad another NE Texas knocked them out 47-18.

UT does not go looking for SE Texas plow mules, they look for thorough breeds. No need for luck.  Luck is for those teams that are not prepared and not as athletic.  The problem with just having heart is, that the heart can be ripped out by a good team.  EC has not faced a good team yet, besides maybe Newton and from what i understand they had there best running back out that game.  Only common opponent is Woodville.  EC vs. Woodville 21-9.  Tatum vs. Woodville 50-13.

Very true.  Got ahead of myself. I can see that some fans on this board know more about grammar than they do about football.  Should call it SETXGrammar Forum.  Typically those fans that use grammar as a form of defense, are watching their team play basketball by this time of year.

Big difference between SE Texas football and NE Texas football.  If Tatum plays for four quarters, then EC does not stand a chance.  But if Tatum decides to not play the second half like they did against Yoe, then it could be a close game.
