1. Looks like EC may get the call at the end of the game.  Ilelegal procedure negates TD and int
 2. Wish I was there.  Great interception.  better finish them now and not let it go to OT.
 3.
is troup that good? where's EC's rb?
Troup was really the fourth or fifth best in District 9.  Should have lost to Tatum, Jefferson, and Possibly Harmony.  Seemed they got the calls on evry game.  lol Wait for it, it will happen.
 4. DA is the top 5 of most winningest coaches in Texas.  I believe more than just his local chapter knows who he is and he will get a few calls to go his way.  He doesn't always get the call, [img][Hidden Content]] but when he does it will change the game!
 5. Many of you must not know Dennis Alexander.  The only thing he chews on more and spits out than his cigars are officials.  For some reason he will always get the calls and will always be on the numbers coaching the game.  Best way I see to get him to back off, is to run a sweep with a pulling guard and take him out.  Troup has been very lucky this year.  Even though they beat Tatum, I believe that they were 4th or 5th best team in the district. I am actually picking EC in this game in a close one.  But better hope that it does not come down to a call going your way.
 6. Be ready for an all out air assault.  WO is a team that has gotten better every week.  Defense is better than last years.
 7.
Jasper jv 38-0 over Dibol jv I don't know about the 9th grade, just a few people at game.
Tatum 46-Jasper 28.  Was a very good game.  Very physical and great talent on both sides.  Tatum scoring 2 TD's in 56 seconds before half was the back breaker.
 8. Crockett VS Tatum in Athens Friday night at 7:00 pm.  Tatum will be home team.

But There is more than Roberts unlike yalls team.. Overstreet is the only thing
To humor me and the Tatum fans, exactly what does EC have other than Roberts?  I hope everyone from EC keeps on believing all the hype, that we are a one man team.  We are a team with one !!!GREAT!!! player and many other great players.  Big difference from being a ONE man team.
EC has a good full back in Kirby Johnson. A good wide reciver in Brady Bettis. And The QB threw most of his int.s in the begining of the season when he was less experienced as a qb. But i tell you coach Sutherland has done one heck of a job with him this year. Oh yeah and not to mention a defense that the most points they allowed was the second game of the year and it was 42 the 2nd most was 34 and the 3rd was 34. Like i said earlier this will be one heck of a game. Cant wait til friday. Go Bucs!
Sounds like both have great teams.  I knew that EC has more than Roberts, but wanted EC to see what it feels like to have everyone say that your team is a one man team.  All of those players that you mentioned are very good, and with Roberts it makes your team capable of winning any playoff game.  Just do not think it will be enough against Tatum on Friday night.  I have a feeling that someone else is going to step up and shock everyone, including Tatum fans.
 10.
Harmony beat Vick?  Wow.
No Harmony beat a Vickless team that night.  He was out with a strain in hip.

Aight....now its just becoming stupid.....We'll just say he ranges somewhere between 5'5 and 6'5, between 160 and 230 lbs....runs between a 4.2 to a 4.6 40 yard dash, and we'll tack on that hes big enough, fast enough, and throws well enough for the University of Texas to offer him a scholarship at QB that he accepted. Basically you say stop Overstreet and we're done. So I could basically say stop Roberts and ya'll are done? We'll have to shut down Roberts on the ground but you have to not only stop Overstreet's legs, but his arm as well. Roberts has 1800 rushing yards, the next guy to him has 327 yards. Your QB has thrown just one less INT than TDs so I'm guessing throwing against us wont be on the agenda too much. But c'mon guys....you and I both know you we have more than Overstreet and ya'll have more than Roberts. So in one of ya'lls previous post stating stop "O" and we're done.....give it a rest, cuz just like us you guys rely on one man to pretty much do it all as well........the difference is, ours throws the ball too, yours can only run it, lol.
Well Roberts averages 10yds/carry for the season with everyone knowing that he is getting the ball and he is probably more dangerous receiving. So good luck with that. Last time i checked a qb couldnt throw the ball to himself.
Here is some NFL trivia you can tell your friends.  Brett Farves first NFL pass was to himself.  It was tipped in the air and he caught it and ran with it.  Luckily we have two or three great recievers.  One is finally gettng looks from colleges, but he has made some outstanding catches.

Tatum-56 East chambers-12 maybe
;)
He is a Lobo from Longview and is on here to get people to start arguing.  If he is who I believe he is, then he is on here to just start something.  Do not take the bait.  He likes to stir up things on the other boards in East Texas.
 14.
Your common courtesy is a bit inflated.  We play quality teams like Newton but don't have to listen to all their successes from the last 25 years.  They don't have to tell us how awesome every player is.... Statistical information is one thing but get real on the other stuff.
You guys must be smoking some of that funny stuff down south.  A Guy from EC was the first to post about the playoff history.  Do not get you panties in a wad about every little thing.  People need to also know that no person from Tatum has predicted a blow out and many of us know that EC is capable of beating Tatum.  I do not believe the odds are in EC favor, but it is in no way a sure thing.  Also #27 is a hoss.  He will probably be the best running back that we have faced this year.  After watching the Newton game, I was impressed with your offense, but also remember Newton had there best running back out.  If Newton, with there running back out can put up 34, then I believe that Tatum's offense is just as potent, if not better than Newton's. The key to this game will be mistakes and turnovers.  Who ever makes the least will win this game.

 16. Watched the EC-Newton game and looks like it could turn into a score fest.  I see many similarities between Newton and Tatum.  Newton can not throw the ball as well and does not have the recievers that we have.  QB did not have near the power and speed of Overstreet.  EC QB is a good QB, but I noticed he floats the ball some and that could be trouble for EC.  EC has good team tackling, but not great speed on the outside and I see some match-up problems with the DB's.  Will definately be better than Woodville and about as good, or maybe a slight bit better than Cameron Yoe.  The big Highlight I see for EC is there running back #27.  Seems he does best when he lines up in the wildcat and takes the direct snap.  Never really saw him as a threat for passing, but maybe he has an arm.  I plan on watching another game this afternoon, maybe Malakoff or Buna.  I am sure that EC improved during that time.  Tatum should be on there up swing this week.  It has been a roller coaster ride up and down with this team, and they only played two good quarters against Yoe, so I expect them to have a better game this Friday, if they are not to stuffed with turkey.  lol
 17. Tatum's number one problem is they play down, when playing against teams hat ar not as good.  They have payed there best ball when they though that they had too.  Won all of here pre-seaon against good 3-A school with te exception of Gilmer.  Gilmer game they actually played k, but gave up big plays on 3rd and th and long.  Also failed to get in endzone 3 times in the redzone. East Chambers will play hard disciplined ball.  Tatum better come out and play hard, or they will be the ones headed home to play basketball.  I do not believe anyone from Tatum thinks that EC will be a push over.  Sorry I let someone from Kirbyville get under my skin. Cocky and confident can sometimes get confused.  Most of the Tatum fans on here know what our team is capable of, but we also know that they can play down and give it away.  Like I have stated, if they play 4 full quarters, it will be a long night for EC.  If they let them hang around or jump ahead and quit, then Tatum will have not achieved hat they are capable of doing.  Hope both teams and fans have a safe trip and may the best team win.

Good to see that Kirbyville WildKats made the playoffs with that impressive 2-8 record.  Too bad another NE Texas knocked them out 47-18.
Thanks.. We are quite proud too... ;D ;D...This is The Buc's thread I'm not going to get into a brain battle with an un-armed person...You have a good night... ;)
Lets see,  You bring up spelling on a Football forum and I am the Juvenile.  I can not really see any insight you have to the actual game.  Brain battle with an un-armed person.  Now that is a great come back.  ::) Seems that Kirbyville will do great in UIL grammar this year, but that is about all.  Maybe just maybe, if you watched as many football games and studied as much film, then you could have an intellectual converstation with me about the x's and o's of the game.  East Chambers may win this game, but Tatum has great tradition, experience in big games, better athletes and a great coaching staff.  And oh by the way, they have heart also. Now if anyone would like to actually talk about the game, then I am ready.
