4.
Going to be a tough game next week. Big lights will be shining. CS did beat LaMarque early this season but it was a dog fight. Soles gone on d and will Wilson be back next week. Big question. Butler did a great job on d and made some big plays for CS. But LaMarque has gotten better throught the course of the season and will be playing for keeps next week. I'm looking at a low scoring game. What's y'all's thoughts
I agree very big game next week we play like we did tonight i think we will be just fine and outstanding effort on D tonight it was definitely a team effort and a big atta boy for those boys filling in tonight on D, Wilson is my little bro and ankle was rolled at practice on Tuesday and he rolled it at the Cleveland game as well so just was to tender and sore to run run on this one
 5.
Trojans have been playing much better than earlier in the year, however, I'm afraid they're going to really miss the playmaking ability of Sykes (who was lost for the playoffs with a acl injury against Cleveland) on all sides of the ball... He was a huge threat to score from anywhere on the field in the return game, defense on int's, and on offense from the receiver position... CS is losing one of their best players at the most important time of the year...I know they'll stick someone else in there and expect them to play well but it's tough when you lose a player of his caliber...
Yes Sykes is one of coldsprings better players and will be very missed if it is a tear(waiting on another x-ray to comfirm), dont forget about Douglas Johnson #2 who last year was the play maker on the return team, and having Bryce Shephard, JT Wilson, And Douglas Johnson in the secondary, they have ALOT of experience, remember these guys all played in Dallas 2 years ago Along with Greg Dunham And Patrick Giddens, they know what they need to do to make it there and believe in Coach Morrison and his game plan, they just have to play as a team
 6. Very sad for that young man because he's a senior. I haven't heard anything on Wilson.
wow first ive heard of Sykes if thats the case very unfortanate i pray Gods healing hand be on the young man, Wilson is good to go probably will move wilson from nickle to sykes safety position would be my guess

One of those injuries is a critical part of this team and may be out for the rest of the season.Very unfortunate for the Trojans.I just pray that this young mans injury will not keep him from playing college ball.
Fairly sure Sykes was injured in the first half.
Sykes And Wilson both key parts to that secondary, Sykes was and ankle I believe?? and Wilson was neck stiffness
 8.
Bridge City will have to have there best passing game of the season. Cold springs will be keying on hunter so they will have to mix it up a lot to have a chance. The defense will have to bring their A game also. Hope it is close like last year, if so maybe the Cards can pull it off
Coldspring has one of the best secondaries in 3A, they physical, great tacklers, cause turnovers, athletic, very smart reading formations and plays, one guy goes down its easy for them to rotate and pick up where there is slack, even if BC has best passing game of the season it will still be hard against this secondary
 9. Hope Jt Wilson and Jerrell Sykes heal and get back to the trojan d
 10.

LCM played a great game.  Congrats to the bears. As for the Trojans, they will be fine.  Don't give up on them just yet.  Hey, the passing game seemed to be better last night than at any time this year.  Two TD passes.  The fumbles are eating us alive, and the penalties last night were a killer. It does amaze me though how fast people can turn on their team when things don't go as planned.  If you don't want to be a Trojan fan this year because they lost 2 games, fine.  That will make more room in our tiny bleachers at the 3 home games.  This loss was a let down, but it is not the end of the season.  They have played an extremely tough pre-district schedule and lost a couple.  Oh well, I guess we should fire the coaching staff and forfeit the rest of the games.  :-[ :-[  Yes they need to do a better job holding onto the ball, and maybe every play call wasn't perfect, but when they go deep into the playoffs, don't come crawling back talking about how great Barbay is and the great blocking, tackling, or running backs.
Once again I dont think I'm going against anyone.  I'm just simply stating what needs to get fixed.  Right now this team is a bunch of individuals playing and not a team.  Our offensive line play has been terrible.  So many missed blocks.  It is really unreal.  We have to get tougher and the penalties and fumbles are a huge problem.  At times this team has no heart.  As for the defense they are missing tackles.  Most of it is late in the game because they are getting wore out from being on the field for so long.  If they dont fix some of these problems it is not gonna be a deep playoff run it is gonna be a very short playoff run.
I agree aggies, playin as individuals and not as a team, we are not giving up on our boys trojanswin we will always have there backs and support them, like aggies said this is just what we are seeing in the bleechers,
 11.
I would like to say congratulations to LC-M.  Those kids came out and played hard.  They deserved to win this game.  Our team has no heart what so ever at times this year.  We are way too undid plonked and make far too many mistakes.  If we continue to play like this Shepherd might beat us and this just makes me sick to my stomach to think about.  The captains of this team needs to call a meeting and fix his.
Not just no heart, no intensity, no want, no leadership, and no drive to want to go back to Dallas, thats what the last 2 years the Trojans have had was the drive the heart and willingness to do what it had to do to make it to state and this team doesnt have that not from what ive seen, and not only do the captains need to call a meeting and figure it out, maybe even new ones that are gunna light a fire under there butts
 12. wimberly, ooohhh wimberly, obviously you should recognize how lucky you are to be in the last game. The inches you bought, the victory you bought, were never so obvious. The  picture of the horse collar by #2 in the chronicle, that wasnt called and the sidejudge was standing right there, still remembering #2s arm around him and #2s pat on his fanny in the pre game warm ups, The opening drive of wimberly and watching #7 being grabbed and held and pushed down the field for a wimberly gain.  THE TRUMPED UP HOLDING CALL in the forth qtr that the sidejudge on our sideline after being asked " who was it"  remarked to coach Barbey { i dont have to give you a number}  everything you bought came to fruition! The sidejudges penalties through out the game on coldsprings sidelines,  were devious and disrespectful to high school football and to the trojans who worked just as hard as you men did to play in the playoffs.Bastrop giving thanks to wimberly for their assistance during their time of trouble, WAS AWESOME, but appreciation should not be repaid by a  football game! Even your pathetic announcer, whos own pleas for a sportsman like game were never seen, as he pronounced  our players names wrong, which evidently we only have a few . How do you pronounce monroe wrong. Monroe has several new names thanks to you, one of them is moore i guess! And several names were called and those players were standing on the sidelines and never played a snap! we,ve fought officials all season long and it was a shame to see such a determined lack of courtesy or sportsmanship to decide this game! But then again you guys at wimberly were only in this game because in your pursuit of junkyard football drew a team offsides that was getting ready to put you away! way to go JUNKYARD football.Im so frustrated that the true meaning of sportsmanship cant mean a equal game! Our men rode for 3 hours, you rode an hour! In my heart i try to find a place for this frustration and lack of understanding, and i found it through my wife who began to cry on our ride home when she started to read the facebook responses by our men! They began to give glory to GOD! Ya see through your efforts to steal a playoff spot you thought you were better than us! But these responses showed me that a true heart of a champion rest in the LORD and their GOD! Sherman pal,you didnt lose that game, it was stolen, 2ty you didnt lose that game! It was stolen! the lesson here is wickedness is everywhere! Men plan and scheme every evil thought and the evil one gained ground in bastrop friday!  For God so loved the world that he gave is only begotten son, that whosoever believe in him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
 13. it dont matter who has the tougher schedule , who beat who, none of that matters its the 5th Round of playoffs, obviously none of these teams are weak otherwise they wouldnt be here, we arent gunna sit here and say we are the best in 3A and talk a big game, we just show up every friday and prove it on the field, if we lose we know we played 110% and they just had a better game then us and we will tip our hats to wimberly and wish them the best of luck and cheer them on, if we win we will be good sportsman and shake their hands and thank them for a great game and prepare for the next one. DAY BY DAY!!!

CS- 27 Wimberly-13
I don't know much about either team but going off numbers I think this game is going to be a lot closer than this. Sure Coldspring has blown out all their teams but it was a very easy schedule. Wimberley had some challenging opponents. I think it could go either way by 3 or less.
I think you are overlooking coldsprings passing game and the trojan D, we stopped a very high powered offense in WOS and only allowed 13 pts, i think another big key here is that , our D doesnt really allow a offense to get in a rhythm, we force a lot of turnovers and penalties, goin to be interesting to watch, i think the fact that we won this game last year is gunna make this a very good game come friday night
 15.
Coldsprings o stepped up all the way around. We still put up big numbers even with all the penalties. But that was last week. O still think we need a solid place kicker. The missed extra points could come to haunt is. Just a thought I have. Dunnam was ok through the regular season bit has fell short to many times in the playoffs. Isn't Wimberly ranked #2 in the state this year? Going to be a great match up see y'all there
Didnt Dunham Get Hurt A Few Games Before Playoffs On An Extra Point Attempt? I think ever since then its been 50/50, But Still Would take Dunham Any day of the week
 16. if Coldsprings O-Line Shows Up Like Friday Against WOS And TE Lilley And Z-Back Wilson Keep Playing The Way They'Ve Been Playing All Year,Coldsprings O Will Put Up Atleast 30, Havent Heard Anything About Wimberlys D Tho??/?? Wimberly's Passing Game is Good From What I Hear But Too Many Ball Hawks On Trojan D, Gilbert, Wilson, Sykes, Monroe, And Johnson Will Be Too Much For Wimberly And Not To Mention The Best D-Line And Linebacking Core In The State Of Texas, WOS Had A Pretty Good Recieving Core And I Think We Pretty Much Shut Them Down For Big Gains

Dont look for CS to attempt a fieldgoal, it was an embarrassment when attempted previously but hey when your use to scoring massive points you have no need for a FG kicker right!? WRONG!  that may be the deciding factor tonight, CS can only go for two or go for it on 4th down and if that continues they will only get continously stuffed just like Bridge City did them. CMON West Orange you've got this one.  WOS 17  CS 12
Well IMO you are wrong because obviously they beat bridge city and beville and they were suppose to lose both of those games, it doesnt matter if its 1 point or 50 points a W is a W, balance is the key here, when the offense isnt putting up the points its used to, their D steps up and shuts em down, and they just had one break away play and thats all they needed, and yes you are right FG kicking is a issue with coldspring but i dont see it being a problem as far as extra points go, this is going to be a very very good close game i give the trojans D an edge over WOS' D but WOS O seems to be clickin unlike coldsprings but i dont think WOS has seen and D like coldsprings, i seen the game against bullard and i think coldsprings D is a lot faster and a lot better at tackling and a lot better at defending the pass, a few of WOS scores were off very poor tackling and i dont think you are gunna see that happen from the coldspring D, THIS IS GUNNA BE A HECK OFA GAME
Before the reality check that BC gave CS they were supposed to be a winner by 20+ points. Idk where your getting your info but CS was definitely the favorite in that game before it was played.
im just going off what was said on here thats all

A CS poster that is humble. Yes, I agree completely. And if you look at all my posts, I am not the one causing trouble. Anyways, I believe no matter what that our Region will be well represented no matter who takes it.
yes it will be representated very well and in the playoffs you want to see close games that teams leave it all out on the field IMO, dont get wrong tho blow out games are very nice and easier on the heart attacks you get from watching overtime

 21. Great game by both teams, i think these last 2 games have shown the resiliency of this team, D looked outstanding, offensively we need to figure out how to move the ball effeciently with the constant blitz packages we are seeing, like to give a shout out to my bros #42 Colt Wilson and #7 JT Wilson awsome game from the Cali boys
