True, it was more of a general statement than about this game specifically. They just show a lot of favoritism towards the DFW/N TX teams.

Yeah, when my daughter was in Indianettes back in 2010-2012, her football locker boy was the son of a “infamous” PA police officer and he lived in the PNGISD section of Bent Tree apartments at the time…lol!

Haha, just another one of life’s greatest mysteries! 🤔 Seeing a house with a PNG yard sign out front and one across the street with a Nederland sign is totally a thing around here…lol!

I’m guessing it’s got a lot to do with zoning because some areas are inside Nederland and PA city limits but considered PNGISD. I lived in a apartment complex on Jimmy Johnson, not far from Twin City Hwy a long time ago which is PA city limits but a couple of the sections up front were in PNGISD and the others were PAISD…CRAZINESS!! They did some rezoning in that area years ago so that one is all PAISD now but I think a couple of the complexes closer to Twin City are still PNGISD.

I’d say it’s a bit of both!

Is it a Sports Bar type place with TV’s cause Texas and A&M decided to play Friday night instead of Saturday this year so I’d like to find a place close by Woodforest Stadium to watch it after PNG game.

Well, maybe Aggie is just RESPECTING the young man’s privacy because nobody except CB, his family, coaches and teammates NEED to know the specific details of his injury! ESPECIALLY any of the competition that may be trolling looking for info!!

According to someone I know who called PayK12…there’s not enough tickets left to fill the duplicates that were sold and the solution with agreement from NISD was to contact those affected in order by timestamp on original purchase and when they run out of tickets, all others will get a refund…not acceptable! Sorry, I just think NISD has some fault in this and should’ve figured out a way to accommodate everyone who purchased tickets because there were TONS of issues with PayK12 last time the game was at Nederland so they had TWO years to prepare or switch to a service that could handle the traffic but THEY chose not to!!

Ok, I just DO NOT understand how all this works with open enrollment schools and transfer procedures/regulations for students participating in UIL Sports?? I’ve read through discussions on a few of the playoff game chats and there’s been a lot of talk PRAISING various Coaches for being good “recruiters” and using “the portal” to acquire some of the ATHLETES transferring from other schools?? Anyway, it just took me off guard because it wasn’t the typical…fans spreading rumors or making accusations chatter….came across as if it’s all totally LEGIT and PERMITTED just like College Football!! So, I’m REALLY confused because I didn’t think that stuff was allowed in High School…open enrollment or NOT??

Yep! Don’t think I’ve EVER seen a team PURPOSELY use dirty strategy and tactics like SOC!! From the matching gloves to conceal HOLDING, to laying on top of opposing teams players, punching, jabbing, kicking…etc and FORCIBLY holding them down long as possible while the others circle around with OBVIOUS INTENT to hide it from the officials…which a lot of times ends up drawing a flag on the OTHER team when they retaliate because they’re trying to DEFEND themselves or their teammates!! It’s pretty apparent that CRAP is PRACTICED and part of their “game plan” because they mainly do it whenever the score is close or to stop the other teams MOMENTUM…they did the same thing to Huntsville!! But no excuses…nothing would’ve changed the outcome because despite their lack of INTEGRITY and CHARACTER…they were just BETTER!!
