Watched Stratford play Waller & wasn't all that impressed with either.

ok. great weekend of football, we were off this week so i got to cross the river & watch my buddy who is the dc for coldsprings win their game vs huffman, then watch willis vs humble. Humble 398...you were the better team today. no if's & or buts... congrats to you...i really thought willis was ready to compete with you, but no way. They graduate 8 sr & you graduate 37. MAYBE next year they can give you a better game, but today you were the better team.

Heard from a buddy that the humble Principal was at the district cross country meet and was talking about the in-fighting and jealousies that was going on with the football team now...u know anything about this?

Well, good for them. Coach Moore is hanging his hat on that freshman group..never seen a freshman game where the coaches were up in the box on headphones. It will be interesting to see if he keeps them all together next year or if he breaks them up and moves some to the varsity.

That's why you play the game...never know what may happen...you see it all the time.

Willis is too hot & cold to make a prediction...by the way they're not MY fans...I live in Louisiana now. I just have friends in the Kingwood area & I used to coach/live in that area.

Here's my take on Willis...they are inconsistent. Having said that, IF their offense doesn't turn the ball over, I really don't see anybody stopping them and i do mean anybody, don't care what district youre from. Turnovers have killed them. Defensively i think they are average at best. Special Teams, again average..they've taken 2 punts back for td's, had 3 kickoffs for td's called back..the team speed is very good. I think TALENT wise, they match up with humble pretty well...I know it's cliche, but whichever team has the fewest turnovers I believe will win...ALOT of people will be at this game, should be fun to watch.

When Kesolowski accepts the Nationwide Championship Trophy, the first thing he SHOULD do is thank Kyle Busch for NOT running a full schedule.

I believe the Coldsprings DC will mix up enough coverages to keep the falcons off stride and then their athleticism will be too much for huffman to overcome. Coldsprings wins.

He won't be able to turn the corner until the good fathers give him what he needs...an athletic PE hour. Then he can be on a level playing field and then, he can turn the corner with that program.

i don't agree with the 1 & done...i believe that district matches up with the one brenham is in and depending on how the seeding goes, could very easily get by the first round.

should be a big rivalry game shouldn't it?

well, I sure was wrong!! 42-7 is NOT what I expected. I went to watch Pearland play, but was amazed when I heard the score. OK HUm398, you mustve been at the game...tell me what happened.

Yeah, that one caught me off guard. I thought Kingwood Park would be a better team this year than what they've shown. Willis has the skill kids to compete with humble & huntsville, but not sure about everything else.

This weekend should be interesting for that district, humble & huntsville play & then I think willis & caney creek play...big weekend for the district teams in the playoff hunt.
