Stiffest? LCM, they got shutout by WO-S.
I though we were going off who played the toughest team.
well it sure seems like WO-S was the toughest team in the area for last night with a shutout last night, 1 of many on the season IMO
So you think WOS would beat Pam?

On the different games played, which team:  Nederland, LC-M, Vidor, Central, Ozen, and PN-G, based on what was observed, had the stiffest competition and which team had the least competition.
For this week:
    Central (Pam)
    LCM (WOS)
    Nederland (Crosby)
    PNG (Silsbee)
    Ozen (West Brook)
    Vidor (Santa Fe)

    From toughest to weakest.

There you go stalking me around the boards again. Quote one personal attack. thought so. All you do is look for Liberty threads to bash the players and coaches and academics etc. Get a life kid.
Ok, but I will just quote the personal attacks you made in this thread.

Tell him. Please. Never said he didn't lay down, dunno how to explain to you, you're obviously mentally challenged. Btw, it's spelled WAY not WEIGH, DUUUUUUUUMMMMMMBBBBBBBB!!!!!!!!!!! ROFL!!! What team do YOU play for? Stop riding other peoples coat tails and try to get your G.E.D or something. Then maybe you can learn to use logic and stop being such an embarrassment to every/anyone who knows you.

Antoine suffered a concussion last week, doesn't stop you from dancing. Tell JJ he's faking in person. Didn't think so. You've shown the world just how ignorant you really are. Like a clown using setx as a circus. Worst kind of garbage, you and sandusky must've played when you were younger.

Dude your dumb af.. it's a disk in his BACK not his LEGS he can walk fine hurts him to SIT. Unless you know the truth it'd be smart to keep your mouth closed. That's like me questioning Jasper's player with the broke leg because he moved it.. You're sad dude. After the chiropractor he's been ordered to go to at 7 am tomorrow fully diagnoses him I'll be sure to give a report. He was EATING jasper up, if anything him taking that dive should've let you know just how serious it was. If he wanted to fake the injury he would've stayed out when he got hit. The kid tried to gut it out and come back in the game only to realize he couldn't. He should get respect for trying, instead ignorant people like you are hear to make uneducated comments. Sad. 21-20 Liberty wins and Huffman fanboys spends next week talking about how horrible Jasper is...

Huffman fans don't care how Liberty does. If anything I hope yall win, it just makes our district look better. Liberty fans on the other hand can't stop talking about Huffman even when the thread is about their own game ::).

He's a good one. Really has made Huffman's O tick with his pass catching abilities. Never understood why they don't hand the ball off to him more.
They do a really good job of getting him the ball in different ways. Last year he had 155 combined touches between rushing and receiving.

7.Darion Gray 5-10 165 Hargrave HS, (Huffman, TX)

"Gray is the consummate scat back, this jitter bug has great speed, and cut-back ability. Gray is considered one of the premiere backs in Texas, but because he is small, not considered an all-around running back. He can definitely be a major asset on the next level on third downs. He was the first starting freshman running back in Huffman's school history. He could also move up in our rankings with an outstanding season. He looks like a faster version of Richard Murphy at the same stage of their respective careers".

C'mon...it's Kashmere...HISD...they may have athletes but if they have 3 coaches I'd be surprised.  Lamar is pretty good...the rest of HISD makes the playoffs because they play other HISD schools in district.  It's not 1984.
They had 408 total yards and outscored 13-1 West Columbia 26-8 in the second half. They also scored more points on WC's state finalist defense than any other team including last year's state champion Chapel Hill. I'm not saying Kashmere is a top 3a team or anything like that, just saying they aren't a bad team.

    Huffman win this one

    Huffman 28
    Kashmere 7
Good luck and hope you come out of game injury free and have a good season.
7? How times have changed!!!
Kashmere is still a good team they were a 7-3 playoff team in 4a last year despite having an enrollment of around 500, and they almost upset a top 10 3a team in West Columbia. May not be the Kashmere of the past, but they're no slouch.

Rofl. What did Liberty lose that's going to hurt them so bad?
Well they weren't very good to begin with, but I would say the loss of a D1 prospect  and 2 year starting QB and the loss of 4 O linemen including a D1 recruit is pretty significant. However Liberty could've returned everyone from last year and I still don't believe they would beat they're probable playoff opponent WOS.

Huffman has had two decent seasons, but lets not talk about the past. Wouldn't want you lady birds to dig in your bag of excuses. Glad ya'll are finally getting wins, turns the quiet winless a for effort computer geeks to the most arrogant "I can finally jump from behind my monitor" (well kinda) casual fans to butt-holes. Anything said against Huffman, you hate. Anything said for Liberty, you hate. What do you guys do when you aren't trying to shove your opinions down people's throats on SETX. lol. Been a long time waiting huh? Have fun while your faces are dry.

Also I thought you said you didn't have a team in 22-3a, but now you're a Liberty fan?

Sorry, I'm an adult male therefore i'm not allowed to play hs football and have no games to lose. Smart. I also don't have a dog in your little insignificant 22-3a super bowl. Assuming, well you know... I suppose you don't have enough life experience to understand however. My issue was bashing kids by calling them scrubs. Simple. All this other nonsense is just random and quite sad in my opinion. This is a great site with several great posters, I'll assume they use you for balance. Said my peace, good luck winning the state championship again. Side note, my Texas hs football history tells me that huffman has been "scrubs" much more often than not in that little powerhouse district of yours.
So I guess you're either a liar or you are just to ashamed to claim you're a Liberty fan( which I understand by the way). I don't know about you, but I will never be ashamed of being from Huffman, it wouldn't matter if we went 9-3 or 0-10 I will still be proud to admit I am a Huffman alum.

Btw just for fun when was the last time Liberty won 9 games in a season? Have yall even done it this millennium? I'll wait ;) 8)
1. Been here longer than a month, even I hadn't that's an average of about 5.5 posts a day. None of which consist of "say my team is the best in the world or your opinion is stupid"

    2. I don't have a team in the hunt. I live in Liberty, after reading all the bashing I feel obligated to take up for them. Not a fan, I'll admit. They lost my respect years ago, not one to watch my town get bashed though. Especially by historically unworthy teams. I know Liberty went 10-0 in 03 or 04 which ever, back when Huffman was still a punching bag. Over time Liberty has achieved more than huffman when it comes to football. (here comes the past doesn't matter excuses, yet you constantly bring up the last two seasons) go figure. 22-3a is responsible for how many state titles? Exactly, insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

    3. Huffman is one of the better teams in that district, that's where it stops. Not a threat to go deep, definitely not a threat to make it to the big game. Anything else?
1. I never said Huffman was the best at anything, just said they are better than the teams they have blownout, also never said your opinion was stupid. Stop making things up.

    2. Actually the 03-05 Huffman teams were very good made the playoffs every year and beat the #2 team in the state wos in the playoffs in 04. Since 2004 Huffman has more wins, playoff appearance, and playoff wins than Liberty, even with our 2 crappy years in 4a.

    3. Apparently people disagree with you. Huffman is ranked as high as 20th in the state, and DCTF even makes a comment about Huffman having a chance to go on a playoff run. Now are we a top 20 team idk, I think we will finish with 8 or 9 regular season wins and go 2 to 3 rounds deep, but Liberty isn't even a threat to be competitive in the playoffs if they make it. Just face facts Huffman >Liberty.
1. Tired of arguing, kickoff is Friday. Entertaining though.

    2. DCTF is often criticized here, by you as well as others. Only matters when it's beneficial to huff huh? lol

    3. Liberty has sucked for nearly ten years, overall they still have a better history.

    4. Magazines and predictions don't determine the winners of games, therefore who makes the playoffs and goes how far no one knows. Pure speculation.
1. If you don't want to argue then you don't have to respond.

    2. I didn't say they were right, I just said people have different opinions about Huffman than you do. Btw DCTF wasnt the one who ranked Huffman #20.

    3. What you did 10 year ago doesn't matter, because the people that did it are gone. Right here right now Huffman > Liberty that's all that matters.

    4. I never said they did, but based on past preformances and what Liberty has returning they have pretty much no chance of winning a playoff game this year.

Cola you are behind on the latest news. Word is AFA will go football only to the BE and put other sports in Patriot League. This is a very very very attractive move for AFA.
    1. Patriot League is a high rated academic conference over the average MWC.
    2. Air Force will join Navy and Army in non-football sports.
    3. BE football money

IMHO, I think there is a 95 percent chance AFA makes the move.
This will leave MWC with only 8 all spots schools. The big question is, what will the MWC do?
    1. Stay at 8/9...very risky move. Deja vu of the WAC.
    2. Invite a few schools.
So Cola, if the MWC invite 1, 2, or, 5 schools. Cola what schools will get the invite?
I can only think of 2 west of Texas, NMSU and Idaho. Idaho is a no go so that leaves just NMSU. MWC already told NMSU no. MWC said they are looking at Texas schools.Ok, what Texas schools? certainly not CUSA Texas schools. I can only think of Texas st, Lamar, and maybe UTA. Yes, this is a risky move for Texas st but this is a move that hops over the SBC. I would doubt the Texas st would ever consider going down to the SBC in the future unless the situation becomes desperate. Can you tell me where I am going wrong?
AFA football may join the Big East, but there is no way in heck that their other sports join the Patriot league. The patriot league conference is full of small schools with small athletic budgets. In the MWC AFA's longest conference road trip for non-football sports was Fresno at about 840 miles away. In the Patriot league their shortest road trip would be Bucknell at 1500 miles away. The AFA travel budget would sky rocket. They would be sending multiple teams almost every week on 1500+ mile road trips, maybe AFA can afford that, but I seriously doubt the Patriot league member schools want to add a conference opponent that's 1500+ miles away.
The plan is to get Denver to travel partner with AFA. I think the Patriot League would welcome all 3 service academies.
That would be an even worse idea, because now you're talking about non-revenue sports possibly making 2 1500+ mile trips instead of 1. I just don't see either AFA or the Patriot League wanting to make this move. What's the incentive?
Knock Knock, do you not know what a travel partner is. It would be just the opposite of what you said. Non-revenue would make 1 trip for 2 games.

The incentive for AFA is a huge payday in BE football and Olympic sports in conference with Navy and Army.
Denver men's sports, lacrosse, hockey, men's swimming and diving fits very well in Patriot League. Denver already needs to travel to play those sports, why not do it in a conference.
Umm.. Knock knock you do know that wouldn't work for every sport right? Or do you expect baseball and softball to play 6 games in 1 weekend or stay the whole week in CO. and miss all they're classes( that would go over real well in the patriot league ::))

BTW I was asking what is the incentive for the patriot league? They already have two of the service academies and they cleary are not that concerned with athletics, they didn't even allow athletic scholarships until about 12 year ago. I doubt the majority of their member schools would want to make this move.
