Stanley or Helmke It was a great game!......Montgomery has one the loudest baseball crowd I have ever heard, and the scarey part is they were the away team tonight. I can only imagine how loud they are gonna be tommorrow

Matison Smith of Nederland. He held #10 Kilgore to just 1 run and 6 hits (3 in the 1st) with 10 Ks. He also hit the homer in the top of the 2nd to tie the game at 1-1. This homer gave the dogs the momentum.

Coach Robbins of Nederland. He took a team that wasn't even picked to make the play-off by many. He turned them into a team that finished 2nd in district behind LCM. And they are still in the play-offs now.

I think Nederland's Matison Smith should win it....without him I don't think Nederland has near a good of a season. A good one still, but not as good.
