So am I to believe a few opinions on a message board are going to help get a high school senior a scholarship offer from a D1 mid major such as Lamar university?? I hope the kid gets some looks but there aren't many scholarships left at the mid majors this late in the year.

Run through this district ??? Make state runs ??? Should win one or two state titles ??? Lofty expectations for a Co District Champion, there are some very good teams not only in this district but also this and the other regions. Should be a lot of fun to watch this develop. As far as athletic kids go Arnold is the real deal, not sure he has reached the plateau of the Tramain Thomas's of the world yet but he is solid !!

After watching recent debates about border security that were held in Austin Texas I couldn't help but wonder, if the Syrian Terrorist could get a truck across our southern border in to Mexico how hard would it be for them to smuggle terror groups in to south Texas ? It's time to patch our bleeding hearts and secure our southern border !!

I'd love to see Palin run again, she may not win but she would be a whole lot easier to look at than Clinton or Pelosi :)

Not sure what either staff has available after the weekend tournaments but should be a good ballgame.Warren is missing their centerfielder who i also their leadoff man but they have been hitting the ball really well.I like the Warriors in alow scoring ballgame. I'll go with a 4-3 type ballgame.

Warren advanced to the championship game of the Hempstead tournament at 4:30 this afternoon with a 11-0 win over host Hempstead.Good luck Warriors.

Very good ballgame until the bottom of the 6th.Hope the 2 outfielders are ok who ran together in right center, the collision looked pretty tough.

Give us some scores Eagles#1fan. I haven't seen anything on the Woodville club since the season started.I know the way the weather was last week in Woodville they probably rained out if they were playing any home games.

The have some really good tournaments coming up and some good non district games as well. I know they have Buna next week and not sure who else.They have played in this tournament for years. They look pretty good right now. I don't see a dominant pitcher but they have a bunch of guys they can send to the mound and throw strikes. They have been solid defensively for several years.

I've been watching Kountze play for years and have never seen them play a game where they didn't want it called aggresively.

Tatum is always loaded with athletes so they present match up problems. I don't think this was a result of non district scheduling. Other than Silsbee and HJ there aren't many clubs locally that can compete with the Lions.

Kolton is driving the ball really well.

Baseball is a funny game where clubs can look completely different on any given day. That being said experience is the great equalizer in any sport. I look for Warren to take another step forward this year with a returning starter at every position.I watched them several times last year and there was no doubt they were a different club after Perfect got well and back in the line up. They have a very good coach who has started to build a program. I can't wait to watch all the clubs this season, good luck to all the clubs and let's" PLAY BALL"
