And that's why I picked Parquet. The skill set of all these kids is pretty close and while we think all of them may step up we know one of them will. The young man from Ozen did step up big time in the state championship game but I don't think any of the other kids on the list played a major role 3 rounds deep in the playoffs.

There are several things that don't show up on ranking sheets or stat sheets that can't be taught or coached. Some kids want the ball in big game crunch time situations and some had just as soon not have it. Some players when injured will take a seat and watch. I have nothing against any of the players on this list and have seen almost all of them play this past season.In the biggest game of his season last year with a broken rib I watched Parquet lace up his sneakers and go to work. I'm amazed we don't all agree on this topic

Nice video but Parquet is the best incoming sophomore in SE Texas. Kid played in the regional quarters last year as a freshman with a broken rip and just flat out stepped up against a very good Houston Sterling club. Kid can take the ball to the hole and FINISH but can also pull up and drain the 3. The sky is the limit for this young gun !!

So am I to believe a few opinions on a message board are going to help get a high school senior a scholarship offer from a D1 mid major such as Lamar university?? I hope the kid gets some looks but there aren't many scholarships left at the mid majors this late in the year.

Run through this district ??? Make state runs ??? Should win one or two state titles ??? Lofty expectations for a Co District Champion, there are some very good teams not only in this district but also this and the other regions. Should be a lot of fun to watch this develop. As far as athletic kids go Arnold is the real deal, not sure he has reached the plateau of the Tramain Thomas's of the world yet but he is solid !!

After watching recent debates about border security that were held in Austin Texas I couldn't help but wonder, if the Syrian Terrorist could get a truck across our southern border in to Mexico how hard would it be for them to smuggle terror groups in to south Texas ? Not sure what either staff has available after the weekend tournaments but should be a good ballgame.Warren is missing their centerfielder who i also their leadoff man but they have been hitting the ball really well.I like the Warriors in alow scoring ballgame. I'll go with a 4-3 type ballgame.
