We've progressed since then. We had an ugly loss to Dayton but had more yards than Ned and scored the same 21 points, defense just decided not to come to Liberty County with the rest of the team. Y'all scored 21 on us and put that same 21 on Dayton. I don't think Ned could beat us now, plus you know when we get Ned in the playoffs you can pencil in the W or at least that's how the last couple playoff meetings went. We are Texas High School Football We have 70-80+ kids on our Varsity roster and over 320+ kids in our football program.  To your 40-50 kids on varsity?  180-200 kids in the program?  You aren't even playing the same game.    We have a history of destroying Humble ISD teams.    I have seen WAY better Humble ISD teams lose to a lot less then what we currently have this year. the puppies are cute, but not anywhere near talented enough to beat The Tigers. Nederland will go as far as Carson Raines takes us. We know what we are going to get from our D, Hopkins and the o-line will keep doing there thing. But D and Running game are not going to be enough to keep advancing. If Raines plays smart and controlled football we will do great things. If he starts to throw a bunch of INT's and fumble it could be the end of the season.

Georgetown squeks by barely. These are two of the best that 4a has to offer, going to make one heck of a game.

[/quote] I think Nederlands defense is very superior to Vidors.  This years vidor defense is like a lot of Ned's in the past-- good to fair athletes, one great player, and a lot of heart.  The Nederland D this year has a very physically imposing and dominating defensive line, which is where it all starts.  Couron has stepped up big as the year has went on, in my opinion being a leader on the defense with play after play.  2 hard hitting linebackers with great football smarts behind that.  Stampley has been on fire the last 3 weeks.  Then the defensive backs this year play the ball better than almost any I've seen at Nederland. Yesterday Zac Taylor made a quick turn to deflect a ball from the wr on what would've been a big play.  Hard to beat us in a field position game.  I think Ned let up on Dayton.  Against vidor I wouldn't say let up, but definitely relaxed. [/quote] Nederland has had many drives where they just drive it down the field in less than a minute. Just our play calling is for power run. If we get down we will start throwing and score quickly either by throwing it down field or Carson running it.

This Freshman Nederland class is legit, I do not know to much about Ozen and Central's 2016 class, but they will have their hands full.
