I was hoping for a Dayton win ,but after watching the 20-4A beatdown tonight , Dayton has this game!! Go getem Bronco's!!!!!
BHFAN...  I AGREE WITH YOU!!!!  Dayton has got to get the sophomores involved on offense.  Defensively I think Dayton will be fine.
Our offense is better than you think. They do not score in bunches, but they grind it out.
 2. Never count Vidor out. In the end they may not win in the final score. But they will never give up. If anything they get better as the game goes on. They have the one thing that is not coachable, Heart. That alone will keep them in this game.

Defense needs to step up and keeps it close. 24 to 21 Broncos.
The Purple and White can't be embarassed 2 weeks in a row. Go Broncos.
But they will be embarassed for the second week in a row.

Both teams are 9-1 for a reason. I'm a Nederland homer and have to give them a slight edge. No way is Dayton a bad team for losing to Summer Creek. That game meant nothing compared to the one Saturday. We've all seen good teams blown out in one of those crazy games when the wheeles fly off. Ned is peaking and will come to play. Dayton will come in ready. This should be a really good ball game. A week ago it would have been the #3 team  vs. the #6 team (in the AP poll).
guess what i hear, Nederland better be ready, cause the kitchen sink is going to be coming at your backfield....hope you have a lot of reserves remember the scrimmage, it was just a preview at least you don't have far to drive home and lick your wounds.,,,,,,
That scrimmage alot of our guys were not playing. And we get better everyweek and are just starting to peak. Y'all on the other hand have struggled on offensive a ton the last two weeks and Ned's D is better than BH and neck and neck with SC. It is gonna be a long bus ride home for the Broncos.

He will start both ways but will get some help on defense.
Since when does Brock play o?
Since dogs are in the play offs I have seen numerous changes. Just hope they give him some relief like PHUNTER says. Not dissing the injured player but, #55 will open up some holes for #24.
What are some of the changes that you seen.

 7.
Nederland had a starting offensive lineman go down in practice yesterday with a knee injury as is most likely out for the playoffs. MRI today, so hopefully it won't be as bad as first thought.
If it is a sophmore it is Albritton. I will not be suprised if Latioles moves to guard and Del Ferio or Washington go to tackle.
 8. This years team will have outstanding pitching, and alot of team speed on the base paths.
 9.
Gotta say, Dayton's 3 deep or better since '07 is pretty incredibile!
That is a great feat to accomplish, but even the best of streaks come to an end sometime.
 10.
Here is my prediction of how the game unfolds.  Vidor is a frustrating team to play.  They run that Slot T crap and bore you to death with 3-4 yard gains.  You have to be SUPER disciplined to stop it... you can't be athletic and big and fast to stop it, you MUST be DISCIPLINED.  I think the Pirates frustrate the CRAP outta SC which will put pressure on that high flying offense.  This is my analysis, and this is why the game will be close.  I think Nederland is a better team than Vidor, but I think SC will have more trouble with Vidor because of the numbing affect of the Vidor offense.  Them boys play pretty good defense too.  I see a much closer game than some folks in SE TX who saw SC deystroy PNG... that game has nothing to do with what will take place this weekend.  Vidor and PNG this year are about as night and day as you can get.
Just takes one wrong step and they will be off for the races.
 11.
Nederland has nothing to prove, they have no chip on their shoulder.  They are a team on a mission with aspirations and goals bigger than earning respect, or bouncing back, or proving people wrong.  All this is malarkey talk, these two teams are close to bustin each other in the mouth, us fan's time is about up.  Time for the boys to rumble.
They may not have anything to prove to the fans, but to the players here still remember that scrimmage, and heard stories and remember seeing the beat downs that Dayton has given us.
 12.
Dayton is going to come out needing to prove something. This game will be close, in Dayton's favor.  :)
Nederland is going to come out to prove that they are not Dayton's punching bag, and that they are a team with State title hopes.

They rolled that out last Friday, a little scout candy.  Neumann is about to unload the business here, I think he knows the ceiling of this team, they will not step on the field against a team that they can't beat if they play their game.  Could be an interesting ride here.
IT STOPS SAT......ENJOY IT WHILE IT LAST  ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D
Nope, you don't know what's coming.  You were probably at the scrimmage and have that stuck in your head... We comin
nah... we're familiar.
This Nederland team is the best Dayton has ever seen. And seems like every couple years or so Barrow changes the offensive scheme.
 15.
On offense J.Jones ozen..a beast...
He didn't look so hot against Ned.
 16. Throwing a INT against Ned is normal. You know, 17 of them and 7 for TD's.
 17. Dayton and SC are in for a wake up call coming Friday and Saturday.
 18. Word around school that Stamply Washington and Wood, starting to play a role in our offense.

They have an athletic d-line but I'm not sure it's better than Nederland's d-line. Vidor has the intangibles with good coaching and Quirante. Should be good game to watch. I think I have to give the edge to Summer Creek after the way they handled Dayton. SC 35 Vidor 30
I'm not sure the entire line as a whole is better than Ned's either, but that's the only maybe between Ned and SC's defenses. Vidor only managed 13 points on Ned, it should have been a blowout but Ned's o likes to grind it out too. Vidor hasn't seen an interior push all year like the one they're going to see from SC. It's hard to run a fake with the center in the backfield. The interior push didn't bother us as much because we play on the edges, Vidor plays from the center to the slot and can't get on the edges. SC has a safety (#4) that returned a pick on Dayton that is a beast in run support so your going to see 9 or 10 in the box all night. Not seeing where Vidor gets their 30 or how they keep SC under 40.
You will not push our center to the back field. I can guarantee you that. You might slow him down on blocking you but our line is one of our best parts. And second go ahead and suck up that safety we beg you to load the box and then try and guess who has the ball as we run past you for a wide open TD. You won't catch montana or justin once they get past you.
Who was the Vidor guy who ran that long TD in the beginning of the second half against Ned. That guy out ran a 4.5-4.6 stud.
TJ Novak.
Idk how fast montana and Moore are for sure, but Novak seems like he can run with them and might be as explosive.

 21.
No....we have a different kicker
I played with him on a weekend in summer and he hit a 60 with no wind.
 22.
Funny you should post that dogs87. Your Dogs from three plus years back were bad defensively and they had the same coaches they have today. In fact many Bulldog fans were calling for Spells head.  What changed two years ago? The influx of talent on that side of the ball that's what. Now Spell is a genius.
That year was a lot of Sophmores playing D. Same kids playing right now. They just went through the system and got alot better.
 23. Does anybody know if Couron and Washington went? I would only imagine they would be practicing for the football game Saturday.
