It was a little disappointing to see Livingston fans cheer when their players fouled Lumberton players hard.
I know that little crowd who does that, they are just stupid, we here them doing the same thing at home games. They are an embrassment to Livingston Girls, I have a Granddaugther who is a freshman on the varsity team and I'm so glad their child is a Senior maybe they won't show up after this year. ;D The people sitting around us frown on them because they can't handle it that our kids just don't have enough talent right now. We have to sit there and listen to them say stupid things all the time, we'll be glad to move those fans to anyone who will take them. ;D ;D

 3.
Well I am in Toronto Canada this week and it's about 12 Deg F this morning with light snow.  I figured I better find a cold weather location to test out this computer. Dayton SUCKS........  Well, there you go.  Still works!  ;D ;D
;D ;D ;D I bet that warms things up in a hurry ;D

I just don't see it.
Same thing could be said about Vidor and Quirante. Montana was the heart and soul of Vidor on offense and defense.
Yes he was but I personally know that vidor has plenty of talent (aka Montana's cousins and brothers) coming up through the ranks soon. That's why I said "maybe y'all are seeing something I don't see". I wasn't saying there isn't anything coming up for Livingston,  I was just saying I don't see it and haven't heard of anything coming up. That's it.
Mytwocents, you seem to forget we are in the back woods, it's hard to hear anything through these tall pines LOL ;D ;D, but we will be ok. Gonna miss Chevoski but life goes on, Coach Rowe was thinking last year on what he'll do next year. ;)

 6. I only got to see Newton play in the playoffs once last year and I was amazed at the amount of talent they had on the field. They really have a great program there to put that much talent on the field for such a small school.

I've always believed you're only as good as the people you surround yourself with, no matter how great you think you are. Every great leader understands that, be it head football coach or whatever leadership position you hold.
Ding, Ding Ding, Ding....We have a winner! Great post. If given the job, does he have the connections at the HS level to put together a good HS staff. We know he has connections at the collegiate level, but those guys aren't leaving for HS assistant jobs! On another note, you think Mitchell would have flourished under Brown's tutelage! Coulda been special.
So right you are, hope he didn't forget where he came from and kept connections with some good HS coaches. And on your other note, I can only imagine what it would have meant to a QB like Mitchell to have had someone who had been there and done that as a QB. ;D ;D ;D

 9. Sounds Qualified to me, but I'm not making the call ;D ;D ;D ;D  :) one thing I do know, the most important thing will be putting together a good coaching staff and the longer they wait the more harder that will be.
 10. Wow! Congradulation to Juan and Lamar.

If you how up around 7 there may not be a seat
Plan on leaving Silsbee at 4pm. Should get there around 5:30pm.
I have a nephew that plays for San Augustine, #12 Aljanon Horton, never had a chance to see him play basketball. I'm gonna have to make a point this year to go see him since it's his last year, but I'll wait until they play at home.
 12.
I don't want Fontenot.  He's more of a 'hype man ' than an actual coach.  I want someone that knows their x's and o's...
You right about that a coach who knows his x's and o's can put great talent in the right places on the field, and do more with less.

Looks like he understands the importance of the weight room, wish him the best in having a great future in whatever sport he does.
Quarterback. And he's a four start recruit in football as well.
Thanks for the infro, hope the best for him, always good to see kids do good in whatever they do in life.

 17. Maybe SHSU will give him an Offer the I'll only have a 30 minute drive ;D
 18. I like what Lamar is trying to do, good for Lamar and the area kids too. I drive 30 minutes to see SHSU but would drive a hour and a half to see these kids play on the next level.
 19.
Whoa!!! I thought you guys moaned and complained about LU not recruiting local kids. And as far as waiting, sometimes thats a gamble you are taking. Who should he be waiting for?
I believe it worth the gamble myself to wait, unless he's just sold on Lamar :)
