  8. Kelly verse Sulphur

    Kelly Girls won against SULPHUR 7-0 tonight.  Played well.  I believe 6 different girls scored.  Kelly guys won 2-1 in a shortened game due to weather.  Guys played okay in that 22 people got in the game for a half of play so it was hard to get any rhythm of play.  Sam Lombardo and Jose Alvarado got goals. 
    Girls had played Lake Charles Barbe Thursday night and won 2-1 but the score could have been more.  Played well.

    I agree.. I want one that is set in stone also.... The district changes games and times like most people change socks.  Crazy.  But Next game is Thursday against a strong Barbe team.  Then next Tuesday against Sulphur.  And Wednesday against ST Louis.  Tuesday the 8th at 6 and Wed the 9th game time is 5 and both at KELLY Stadium ..... Still a learning curve... but all is good.

    Kelly Mens Jv WON 2-1...  a good game for the guys...
    Lady Bulldogs won against Concordia Lutheran 3-1 and did very well. They had 21 girls who all played and all did well and improved as the game went on. 
    Kelly Mens Varsity tied 1-1 and played extremely well.  They  had tons of shots and several open shots that didnt turn into a GOAL...
    Girls first goal of the season came off the foot of Ms Zeto.
    First goal of the season for the Kelly Mens soccer came off the foot of Jacob Cameron.....  GREAT JOB TO ALL THE TEAMS..

  16. Best Line Backer in SETX ?

    I will say that Wilson at Kelly may or may not be the best linebacker around .  I am not a football specialist.  I am a futbol specialist.  I do however know that Wilson is probably the biggest reason Kelly is going to be district champions and going to the playoffs.  He has been a outstanding leader for the kelly team and kept them focused during games with his play and with his sideline manner.  Always walking and reminding them to keep working and agreeing to play or do however much of him is asked.  I would say that he is a HUGE REASON we have done so well.  With that said,  if he is or if he is not the best in the area.  He is the best at Kelly and they are going to the playoffs.

    Kicker for Kelly.  Had two PAT blocked and missed none .  Averaging 42 yards a punt.  Has only had one chance to kick a field goal and made it.  Has had two 62 yard punts. Stopped a 52 yarder on Bridge City one inch mark.  Busted play he threw for a two point conversion from 26 yard out into endzone.  Ran twenty yards for two point conversion on a busted PAT...  Has made 3 tackles to save kickoff returns... and on a blocked PAT ran the player down to save him from running it back.

    Boys and Girls travel to Concordia Nov 1st.  Volleyball made the playoffs so we will be missing a couple of girls for our first game.  Going to take a little work on girls side to get a line up at first.  Boys should or could be really good if they stay healthy and work.  Then home game for boys and girls Nov 8 and 9th.  Boys jv at 400 girls varsity at 530 and Varsity boys 7
