I exchanged e-mails with him a couple of weeks back and he gave me no indication that he was leaving.

How in the heck did we get on the tour  ;D [/quote] It weas a matter of necessity.  When the UIL aligned 19-4A into its current configuration, they really threw Coach Gage a curveball as he had an agreement with Humble to be the Week 0 opponent.  Well, that went by the wayside when Humble was placed into 19-4A.  He had a heck of a time finding a replacement.

[/quote] Remember, that the schedules are redone every 2 years and it was necessary this year due to the radical changes in 19-4A.  Even when the districts remain relatively stable they are redone which sometimes results in one school visiting the other two years in a row, but it evens out.
