2012 Defense Defensive set: 3-3-5 Returning starters: 7 Coach Harrison will be leaning on an experienced defense while the young offense jells.  1st team all district lineman Matthew Romar will lead things up front where he will be joined by senior tackle Walter Oliver (2nd team all district in 2011) and junior end Melbrodrick Matthews.  Lemora will lead the Titan linebacker corp.  Senior James Jenkins (2nd team all district) will lead a secondary which will also feature seniors Jalen Barnes, Albert Jacobs and Devin Cockrell.    2012 Key Games Memorial will begin the season by hosting Beaumont Central on August 31st.  The Titans will begin District 21-5A play by traveling to new district foe Deer Park on September 28th.  Memorial will travel to Beaumont to take on West Brook on November 2nd and a regional final rematch with La Porte will take place in Port Arthur on November 9th to close the regular season.
